Research Progress on Preparation Method and Properties of Superhydrophobic Coating of Organic High Polymer by GAO Xiaoyu, ZHANG Heng, LIU Junming, FENG Liming, CHEN Bobo

    Published 2024-12-01
“…Organic high molecular polymer superhydrophobic coatings have a wide range of material choices, high comprehensive performance, simple preparation methods, and are easy to realize large-scale industrial applications, making them the most likely superhydrophobic materials to be widely promoted.Herein, this paper briefly summarized the design principles of superhydrophobic coatings, reviewed the research progress on several major types of high molecular polymer-based superhydrophobic coatings and their properties both domestically and internationally, and identified the factors limiting their application along with potential solutions. The key to achieving practical applications of organic polymer superhydrophobic coatings lied in ensuring their stability, resistance to environmental damage and excellent comprehensive performance. Thus, gradient design of coatings, high-polymer structure design and optimization of coating application and curing conditions were important pathways to achieve high-performance superhydrophobic coatings.…”

Experimental Study on Mechanical Properties of Fiber Recycled Concrete by GUAN Xiaodi, MA Di, WEI Huanhuan, KANG Jiawei, LEI Tianqi

    Published 2022-01-01
“…In this paper, the influence of fiber types on the mechanical properties of recycled concrete materials is analyzed by controlling the fiber types in recycled concrete materials. Then, the influence of the diameter, length, and mass ratio of polypropylene fibers on the properties of recycled concrete materials is investigated by the design method of orthogonal tests. The results reveal that both plant fibers and straight polypropylene fibers could inhibit the damage to recycled concrete, while curved polypropylene fibers could not.The peak strength and deformation modulus of recycled concrete can be enhanced by plant fibers and straight polypropylene fibers, but with the increase in curing time, the strengthening effect of plant fibers decreases. At the same time, the mass ratio of polypropylene fibers has a significant impact on compressive strength and tensile strength, and the length of polypropylene fibers greatly affects tensile strength, which indicates that the mass ratio and length of fibers are important factors affecting the strength of recycled concrete materials.…”
