The Detection Rate of Associated Mg ii Absorption Lines in Quasars Depends on Their Radio Emission
Published 2025-01-01“…Our analysis reveals that evolved quasars exhibit a significantly higher incidence of Mg ii -associated absorption lines compared to younger sources, particularly among quasars with “nonpeaked” radio spectra, which show an incidence of Mg ii -associated absorbers approximately 1.7 times greater than that of gigahertz-peaked spectrum sources. …”

The Gluon Sivers Distribution: Status and Future Prospects
Published 2015-01-01“…SIDIS data, including the COMPASS deuteron data, allow for a gluon Sivers contribution of natural size expected from large Nc arguments, which is O(1/Nc) times the nonsinglet quark Sivers contribution. Several very promising processes to measure the gluon Sivers effect directly have been suggested, which besides RHIC investigations, would strongly favor experiments at AFTER@LHC and a possible future Electron-Ion Collider. …”

A novel paradigm for fast training data generation in asynchronous movement-based BCIs
Published 2025-02-01“…Such paradigms tend to introduce long delays between trials, thereby extending training times. To address this, we propose a novel experimental paradigm that enables the collection of 300 cued movement trials in 18 min.MethodsBy obtaining measurements from ten participants, we demonstrate that the data produced by this paradigm exhibits characteristics similar to those observed during self-paced movement. Results and discussionWe also show that classifiers trained on this data can be used to accurately detect executed movements with an average true positive rate of 31.8% at a maximum rate of 1.0 false positives per minute.…”
