Rapid degradation of DHX36 revealing its transcriptional role by interacting with G‐quadruplex
Published 2025-01-01“…First, we employ the cleavage under targets and tagmentation (CUT&Tag), an efficient method for mapping protein–DNA interactions, to identify the binding sites in the chromatin of MCF‐7 cells. Subsequently, we use the auxin‐inducible degron (AID) protein degradation system and improved nascent RNA sequencing method acrylonitrile‐mediated uridine‐to‐cytidine conversion sequencing (AMUC‐seq) to pinpoint genes directly regulated by DHX36. …”

Impact of Temozolomide on Immune Response during Malignant Glioma Chemotherapy
Published 2012-01-01“…Although TMZ-induced lymphopenia has been attributed to facilitate antitumor vaccination studies by inducing passive immune response, in general lymphopenic conditions have been associated with poor immune surveillance leading to opportunistic infections in glioma patients, as well as disrupting active antiglioma immune response by depleting both T and NK cells. Deletion of O6-methylguanine-DNA-methyltransferase (MGMT) activity, a DNA repair enzyme, by temozolomide has been determined to be the cause of lymphopenia. …”

Polymorphisms of Il-10 (-1082) and RANKL (-438) Genes and the Failure of Dental Implants
Published 2017-01-01“…An implant was considered a failure if any of the following occurred: mobility, persistent subjective complaint, recurrent peri-implant infection with suppuration, continuous radiolucency around the implant, probing depth ≥ 5 mm, and bleeding on probing. Buccal mucosal cells were collected for analysis of RANKL438 and IL-10. …”

Unveiling nature’s antidiabetic potential in Berberis orthobotrys seeds for alloxan-induced diabetic rats
Published 2025-01-01“…The primary metabolite Berberine, which was qualitatively detected by GC-MS in blood and urine samples of rats, may be the alkaloid in command of insulin release or recovery of beta cells after alloxan destruction. More study is necessary to comprehend the underlying signaling process.…”

Use of 5-Fluorouracil-Soaked Bioamniotic Membranes in Trabeculectomy for Primary Open-Angle Glaucoma: A Retrospective Analysis
Published 2017-01-01“…Preoperative and postoperative intraocular pressures (IOP), cup/disc ratio, visual acuity and postoperative macular OCT, complications, treatment, and number of corneal endothelial cells were measured, recorded, and analyzed. At the end of 2 years of follow-up, IOP of 36 (87.8%) eyes of patients in the 5-FU group and IOP of 28 (80%) eyes of patients in the MMC group were ≤21 mmHg and patients in the 5-FU group had more stable IOP than patients in the MMC group. …”

Microplastic-enhanced chromium toxicity in Scenedesmus obliquus: Synergistic effects on algal growth and biochemical responses
Published 2025-02-01“…A 30-day experimental simulation revealed that co-exposure to Cr6+ and 5 µm diameter polystyrene MPs resulted in significantly enhanced toxicity compared to individual exposures, characterized by a notable decrease in algal growth, diminished photosynthetic pigments, and protein content, alongside oxidative system damage. 100 nm MPs exhibited a distinct toxicity profile, with more pronounced effects when not combined with Cr6+, suggesting size-dependent interactions with algal cells. Transcriptomic analysis illuminated the complex regulatory mechanisms, indicating that toxicity primarily modulates metabolic pathways essential for photosynthesis, oxidative phosphorylation, the TCA cycle, and ribosome function in Scenedesmus obliquus. …”
