Landslide Susceptibility Evaluation Based on Empowerment Information Quantity Model of Game Theory by CUI Chengtao, LI Limin, FU Zhentao, REN Ruibin, WANG Lianxia, FENG Qingqing

    Published 2024-01-01
“…In the process of employing information quantity models for landslide susceptibility zoning, given that the information quantity of influencing factors is directly added or multiplied by a single weight, without considering the main and objective weight of the factor, this paper proposes an evaluation method based on the empowerment information quantity model of game theory.First, the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is adopted to calculate the subjective weight, the objective weight is determined by the coefficient of variation method, and then the game theory principle is utilized to optimize the main and objective weight to get the combination weight.Meanwhile, the information layer of each evaluation factor is weighted and summed based on the combination weight, and the evaluation results are divided into five categories by the natural intermittent point method. Finally,by taking Shanyang County of Shaanxi Province as the research area, the proposed model is compared with the information quantity model of single weight in landslide-susceptibility zoning maps, zoning point density, and ROC curves respectively. The results show that the accuracy and reliability of the proposed method outperform traditional weighted information measurement methods.…”

Coinfection of avian hepatitis E virus and different serotypes of fowl adenovirus in chicken flocks in Shaanxi, China by Yuan Zhang, Huanyu Xu, Yinuo Tian, Jirong Tang, Huanqing Lin, Yani Sun, Qin Zhao, En-Min Zhou, Yiyang Chen, Baoyuan Liu

    Published 2025-02-01
“…From July to September 2023, eight poultry farms of commercial broilers and commercial layers suffered from increased mortality, decreased egg production, and the presence of hydropericardium-hepatitis syndrome-like gross lesions in Shaanxi province, China. To determine the source of the infection, the viruses of aHEV, FAdV, avian leukosis virus (ALV), Marek’s disease virus (MDV), Newcastle disease virus (NDV), and H9N2 avian influenza virus (AIV) were detected. …”

Adjustment of the Yellow River Water Allocation Scheme Based on Unused Water Permits by DAI Xiaoping, ZHANG Xiaohong, WAN Fubing

    Published 2022-01-01
“…Adjustment of the Yellow River Water Allocation Scheme (“Scheme 1987”) is vital for the water resource management of the Yellow River Basin and is a good example to explore the method of river water allocation adjustment. Most researchers analyzed government adjustment methods while market adjustment methods were not fully discussed. This paper put forward a new water allocation scheme based on unused water permits. In the new scheme, assignable water resources will be calculated by subtracting ecological water needs from changed river runoff.Unused water permits will be canceled and returned to the Yellow River Basin Commission and the canceled water permits will be sold to different provinces by auction. The water allocation ratio of provinces will be calculated by the sum of left permits and bought permits. The canceled water permits of Shaanxi Province,Shanxi Province,Henan Province, and Hebei Province and Tianjin City were calculated to be 662,1 417,154,1 362 million m3 respectively.Cancellation of water permits will have a greater impact on Shanxi Province than other provinces. The loss of these provinces should be compensated with the investment of the central government and the fund of water permit auction. This new water scheme adjustment method can provide a novel idea for river water allocation adjustment.…”

Consistency Analysis of Precipitation Characteristics of Mu Us Sandy Land Based on Daily Precipitation Data by MA Lan, LIU Dengfeng, BAI Bing, REN Mengzhi, HUANG Qiang, LIN Mu

    Published 2021-01-01
“…Mu Us Sandy Land is located in Yulin city of Shaanxi province and Ordos city of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, where the ecological and hydrological system is relatively fragile. However, precipitation is an important controlling factor to the evolution of the ecology and hydrology.Meanwhile, the intensity and process of precipitation also have a crucial influence on ecosystem. Therefore,it is necessary to evaluate the consistency of precipitation characteristic value sequences in Mu Us Sandy Land.Based on daily precipitation data from 1957 to 2019 at 10 meteorological stations in Mu Us Sand Land, this paper selects four precipitation characteristic value sequences namely annual precipitation, annual maximum daily precipitation, annual longest continuous precipitation and annual longest continuous precipitation days, and analyzes the trend by Mann-Kendall method, the abrupt change by sliding t test, and the period by continuous wavelet analysis for evaluating the consistency of precipitation characteristic value sequences. The results indicate that:On the whole, the precipitation characteristic value sequences show a decreasing trend; The significant abrupt change points occur in 1970—1990 and after 2000;The main period of the precipitation characteristic value is about 35 years.…”

Water Quality Evaluation and Comparison of Provincial Assessment Sections Based on Evaluation Method by Entropy-Weighted Cloud Model by MA Congcong, LIU Dengfeng, HUANG Qiang, YANG Zhiyong, PAN Baozhu, LIN Mu

    Published 2022-01-01
“…As the water environment system is random and fuzzy, and the cloud model proposed in the 1990s can flexibly realize the conversion of data and concepts, the model is gradually applied in water quality evaluation.Water quality evaluation is essentially a multi-attribute classification problem, and the Euclidean distance can well characterize the multi-attribute problem, which is also gradually applied in water quality evaluation. To compare the advantages and disadvantages of the variable-weighted Euclidean distance method and the evaluation method by the entropy-weighted cloud model in water quality evaluation,we utilize the water quality monitoring data of three major rivers in Shaanxi Province in 2020,i.e.,Weihe River,Hanjiang River, and Danjiang River.Specifically,we evaluate the environmental quality of surface water in 40 cross-sections of the three rivers using the above two methods. The results reveal that the water quality in the study area is good, and the water quality in more than 70% of the sites reaches Class III.The seriously polluted cross-sections are mainly located in the tributaries of Weihe River, and the main pollutants are chemical oxygen demand (COD) and ammonia nitrogen.…”
