Performance analysis and optimization of cooperative spectrum sensing with relay by Mei-ling LI

“…An object based cooperative spectrum sensing scheme with relay was proposed,and the fact that the channel condition from SU to SR has an important influence to system performance was proved.In view of this,an optimized cooperative spectrum sensing scheme with best relay(optimized BRCSS) was proposed,in which the best secondary relay was selected by considering both the channel condition from SU to SR and SR to FC.Finally,an adaptive cooperative spectrum sensing scheme with best relay (A-BRCSS) was proposed further to save the system expense considering more practical application occasion,where,SU could adaptively decide whether the relay’s cooperation was needed by its reporting channel condition.Both analysis and simulation results show that,the better sensing performance can be achieved by the optimized BRCSS scheme compared with the tradit l cooperative spectrum sensing scheme with best relay.The nearly best sensing performance can be obtained by the proposed A-BRCSS scheme.…”

“…Focused on the low energy efficiency and short lifetime of underwater wireless sensor network（UWSN）,a load balanced and energy efficient underwater clustering（LBEEUC）protocol for UWSN was proposed.For cluster head settings,due to the consideration of load balanced,the proportion of cluster heads based on experience-load was set.The area with high experience-load could obtain more cluster heads than other areas to process data forwarding.And then,for intra-cluster communication,some relay nodes were set to save energy of long range data transmission between cluster head and nodes.Relay nodes also could be used to eliminate redundant information by advance data fusion.Finally,for inter-cluster routing,Q-learning algorithm was used to implement optimal path planning based on the criterion of least energy consuming.The simulation results demonstrate that the LBEEUC protocol can efficiently improve the energy utilization,prolong the network lifetime and balance the energy consumption of the network.…”

“…Considering the differences in computing capacity and communication resources of the maritime network nodes, a maritime network connectivity probability based method was proposed for selecting edge computing service nodes.Because of the different node densities in the near-shore and far-shore scenarios, two offloading models were established accordingly.In the near-shore scenario, a multi-node cooperative offloading method was proposed by using the genetic algorithm based on maritime multi-node cooperative offloading.In the far-shore scenario, a fault-tolerant offloading method was proposed based on the particle swarm algorithm with grouping cross learning.Simulation results show that compared with conventional methods, the proposed methods save over 30% network delay and reduces about 20% network costs, which can greatly enhance the maritime user experiences.…”
