Research on network traffic classification based on machine learning and deep learning
Published 2021-03-01“…With the continuous development of Internet technology and the continuous expansion of network scale, there are many different types of applications , and various new applications have endlessly emerged.In order to ensure the quality of service (QoS) and ensure network security, accurate and fast traffic classification is an urgent problem for both operators and network managers.Firstly, the problem definition and performance metrics of network traffic classification were given.Then, the traffic classification methods based on machine learning and deep learning were introduced respectively, the advantages and disadvantages of these methods were analyzed, and the existing problems were expounded.Next, the related work by focusing on the three problems encountered elaborated and analyzed in traffic classification when considering online deployment: dataset, zero-day application identification and the cost of online deployment, and further discusses the challenges faced by the current network traffic classification researches.Finally, the next research direction of network traffic classification was prospected.…”

Research on P2P streaming media identification based on UDP
Published 2012-12-01“…Several popular P2P networks TV were studied,and their differences in port usage and packet size distribution were analyzed thoroughly.By observing the above characteristics,the conclusions that network TV application employs only one port to generate most of UDP traffic in one communicat period were summarized,and the UDP packet sizes in various network TV differ significantly.Thus,a method that can identify P2P application’s UDP traffic accurately and effectively was proposed based on extended flow records.Through identifying and verifying the five P2P streaming application traffic which was called Trace data collected from the backbone channel of CERNET (China education and research network) border in Jiangsu Province,and traffic identification results compared with machine learning algorithms show that the proposed method has a high precision rate and recall rate,high time efficient,and not susceptible to the impact of the proportion of the sample.…”

Research progress of error correction coding in optical wireless communication system
Published 2022-09-01“…The channel environment of the optical wireless communication is complicated, susceptible to various natural phenomena such as rain, snow, and fog.The channel code is usually used to correct the error caused by the channel noise.Common channel codes are Reed-Solomon (RS) code, Turbo code, low density parity check (LDPC) code, polarization code and other types.The development of the error correction code was combed, the research progress of the error correction code for the optical wireless communication were summarized and the comparative analysis was made, which introduced the progress of Xi'an University of Technology in this field of theory and experimentation.RS code, Turbo code, LDPC code were comparable to the error correction characteristics in rain, snow and fog environments.Finally, the future possible research direction and challenges were pointed out, providing references for the future development and research in the relevant fields.…”
