Vibration Characteristic Analysis of a Coupling System for Compound Biaxial and Inter-Shaft Bearings by Kun Li, Hongchang Ding, Guohua Cao, Han Hou

    Published 2022-01-01
“…The results show that the changes in the eccentricity of the compound biaxial and the structural parameters of the inter-shaft bearing cause the unbalanced excitation of the system, additional external load changes, and different coupled vibrations between the composite compound biaxial and inter-shaft bearings. Therefore, it is reasonable to match the structural parameters of the coupling system and improve the dynamic performance to avoid system resonance.…”

Study on Information Extraction of Water Bodyin Plain RiverNetwork Area Based on Multi-temporalGF-1 Image by LIAO Yubing, ZHOU Feng

    Published 2020-01-01
“…In order to solve the mixture of pixels such as the towns, shadow and bare earth in the extraction of remote sensing information of water body in Plain River Network Area, based onmulti-temporal GF-1 image, this paper proposes a decision tree model combining the Normalized Differential Vegetation Index (NDVI), Normalized Differential Water Index (NDWI), and near-infrared albedo for water body information extraction, and conducts a study taking the typical plain atthe lower reaches of Yangtze and Huai River. The results show that compared with other methods including single-band threshold and Shadow Water Index (SWI), the multi-temporalspectral information in newly proposed method can effectively eliminate the mixture of pixels such as the towns, shadow and the bare earth, improve the extraction accuracy of smaller water bodies with an overall accuracy of 93% and a Kappa coefficient of 0.85,and reasonably show a spatial distribution of water surface rate with a declining trend from West to East, which could provide a reference for the information extraction of water body in other plains as well.…”

A real-time detection method for multi-scale ships in complex scenes by Weina ZHOU, Lu LIU

    Published 2022-10-01
“…Ship detection plays an important role in tasks such as military reconnaissance, maritime target tracking, and maritime traffic control. However, due to the influence of variable sizes of ships and complex background of sea surface, detecting multi-scale ships remains a challenge in complex sea surfaces. To solve this problem, an improved YOLOv4 method based on multi-layers information interactive fusion and attention mechanism was proposed.Multi-layers information interactive fusion (MLIF) and multi-attention receptive field (MARF) were applied and combined reasonably to build a bidirectional fine-grained feature pyramid.MLIF was used to fuse feature of different scales, which not only concatenated high-level semantic features from deep layers, but also reshaped richer features from shallower layers.MARF consisted of receptive field block (RFB) and attention mechanism module, which effectively emphasized the important features and suppressed unnecessary ones.In addition, to further evaluate the performance of the proposed method, experiments were carried out on Singapore maritime dataset (SMD).The results illustrate that the method proposed can effectively solve the problem of difficult detection of multi-scale ships in complex marine environment, and meet the real-time requirements at the same time.…”
