The interface of real world, lexicalization and conceptualization on the example of the Contact Sense of the German preposition an (on, at) and its Polish Spanish and English cou... by Jolanta Mazurkiewicz-Sokołowska

    Published 2023-12-01
“…The attempt to show what happens step by step when conceptualizing a real spatial relation and its linguistic expression fixed in the lexicalization pattern is motivated by the finding that the difficulty with clear determination and separation of the context information from the information actually creating the meaning is one of the reasons why studies on the cognitive aspects of the semantics of prepositions have been abandoned over time. …”

Research and application of new method based on MDT intelligent analysis of LTE radio interference by Qizhu ZHONG, Xiuquan WU, Yaoman LUO

    Published 2019-10-01
“…Aiming at the traditional LTE (long term evolution) wireless interference judgment analysis method has insufficient user dimension data, insufficient correlation of quality reasons, and too much dependence on manual analysis.A new method based on MDT (minimized drive test) technology for intelligent analysis of LTE radio interference was proposed.Firstly, the user’s wireless quality data and latitude and longitude information were collected by using MDT and MR (measurement report),and then DBSCAN (density-based spatial clustering of applications with noise) and adaptive clustering algorithm were used to collect the wireless coverage indicators and the latitude and longitude and other data were used for cluster analysis. Finally, the clustered data was imported into the self-built wireless interference judgment model, and the interference type was analyzed to realize the intelligent analysis of LTE wireless interference.Compared with the traditional interference analysis method, the proposed method can avoid the complicated road test process and improve the accuracy of the analysis.Data acquisition clustering and model analysis experiments show that the new method improves the efficiency and location accuracy of data collection, and effectively reduces the time of manual investment while the results are more accurate.…”

OUTSIDE REARVIEW MIRROR PANORAMIC CAMERA POSITION ON THE AERODYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF IMPACT STUDY by TONG GaoPeng, GAN Wei, LI ZhiWei, LIN Hui, WANG ZhiFeng

    Published 2018-01-01
“…In order to reduce the influence of the panorama camera on the aerodynamic noise of the vehicle, the exterior flow field and sound field analysis are carried out on the rearview mirror of three different lens placement positions. The calculated results are in good agreement with the experimental data, which verifies the reliability of the numerical simulation. At the same time,it is found that the different position of the panoramic lens has an influence on the air flow which through the exterior mirrors, thus changing the rear flow field and the front window noise radiation intensity.Scheme Ⅲ is compared with other schemes, the tail vortex, the turbulence kinetic energy and the noise emission of the front window are relatively weaker, which can reduce the aerodynamic noise. Finally,by comparing the noise test of three kinds of schemes,it is found that the noise of scheme Ⅲ is lower than that of other schemes, which verifies the correctness of the analysis method. The analysis results provides the guidance for the reasonable arrangement of the rearview mirror panorama image lens, and is favorable for improving the comfort of the driver.…”

Meaning in Context and Contextual Meaning: A Perspective on the Semantics-Pragmatics Interface Applied to Modal Verbs by Ilse Depraetere

    Published 2019-12-01
“…While acknowledging that pragmatic processes (like saturation and ‘free pragmatic enrichment’) contribute as much to the recovery of the explicature or ‘what is said’ as pragmatic reasoning does to the recovery of implicated meaning, it is argued that a more elegant model is arrived at if it is truth-conditional content rather than pragmatic inference that is taken as a defining criterion of ‘pragmatics’ and related conceptual distinctions. …”

Multi-access edge computing offloading in maritime monitoring sensor networks by Xin SU, Ziyi WANG, Yupeng WANG, Siyuan ZHOU

    Published 2021-03-01
“…Multi-access edge computing can effectively guarantee the low-latency, high-reliability data transmission of ocean monitoring sensor networks and various related maritime applications. In the offshore scenario, two offloading models of multi-user single-hop unicast and multi-user multi-hop unicast were established in combination with the distribution of edge computing resources. The mixed integer nonlinear programming was used to separate optimization targets and effectively allocate transmission power. The unloading decisions were made by improving the traditional artificial fish swarms algorithm. The results show that the proposed optimization algorithm can reduce the network delay by nearly 19% compared with the traditional scheme. In the far-sea scenario, a multi-user single-hop unicast offloading model was established, and a reasonable channel allocation algorithm was proposed based on the network connection probability. The results show that when the network connection time is sufficient, the number of allowable sub-channels can be increased to reduce the network delay. When the network connection time is limited, the number of unloaded marine user equipment can be controlled to ensure the network transmission delay.…”
