“…Wnioski szczegółowe: w latach 2013–2022 w Polsce: 1) spadła liczba czynnych składowisk odpadów, a wzrosła masa wytwarzanych odpadów komunalnych, w tym przez gospodarstwa domowe; 2) najmniej odpadów komunalnych per capita wytwarzanych jest w województwach południowo-wschodniej Polski, gdzie poziom zamożności mieszkańców jest najniższy, a wskaźnik zagrożenia ubóstwem najwyższy w kraju; 3) poprawił się wskaźnik odpadów komunalnych segregowanych (w 2013 r. wynosił 13,5%, a w 2022 r. – 39,9%); 4) znaczną część odpadów zbieranych selektywnie stanowią odpady przeznaczone do składowania, czyli zagospodarowania najprostszą metodą; 5) najefektywniej w systemie gospodarowania odpadami komunalnymi funkcjonują wyspecjalizowane w tym obszarze międzygminne związki komunalne, w dalszej kolejności – miasta i miasta na prawach powiatu, najmniej efektywnie – gminy wiejskie; 6) ponad 10-krotnie w skali globalnej wzrosły dochody z gospodarki odpadami komunalnymi, w tym głównie z opłat uiszczanych przez właścicieli nieruchomości, podczas gdy globalne koszty systemu gospodarowania odpadami wzrosły 5-krotnie. …”
