    “…Saving water resources plays an important role in the sustainable utilization of water resources.Based on relevant data of water resources in Zhongshan City from 2000 to 2017,this paper analyzes the sustainable development of water resources in Zhongshan City after carrying out water-saving work by the analysis methods of water ecological footprint and sustainable utilization evaluation.The results show that after the water-saving work was carried out in Zhongshan City in 2011,in overall,the water ecological footprint per capita decreased,the intensity of water resources utilization decreased sharply,the ecological pressure index of water resources reduced,the ecological carrying capacity of water resources per capita increased,and the ecological surplus of water resources per capita increased;with nearly 89% sustainable utilization state of water resources in Zhongshan,water resources have changed from a weak unsustainable state to a weak and medium sustainable state.The level of sustainable utilization of water resources is effectively improved.…”
