Indoor terminal localization technology using a single access point based on distributed MIMO networks
Published 2023-12-01“…Regarding the terminal localization in distributed MIMO networks, an indoor terminal localization system using a single access point (AP) based on distributed MIMO networks was proposed.Firstly, the AP’s antennas were arranged at different locations in the room, and the compressed sensing algorithm was used to estimate the angle of departure (AoD) and time of flight (ToF) of the receiving path on each antenna of the terminal device.Secondly, AoDs and ToFs of multiple paths were combined to establish a nonlinear localization model, and an improved Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm was used to solve the problem. Then, theoretical analysis has been examined for the factors that influence the localization error, and the criteria for the antenna layout was provided. Finally, electromagnetic simulation software was used to build simulation environment and conducted the simulation for system verification. Moreover, software-defined radio platforms were used to conduct practical tests. Both simulation and experimental results indicate that the performance of the proposed localization system is superior to existing single-AP localization systems based on natural multipath.…”

Improved grey wolf optimization algorithm based service function chain mapping algorithm
Published 2022-11-01“…With the rise of new Internet applications such as the industrial Internet, the Internet of vehicles, and the metaverse, the network’s requirements for low latency, reliability, security, and certainty are facing severe challenges. In the process of virtual network deployment, when using network function virtualization technology, there were problems such as low service function chain mapping efficiency and high deployment resource overhead. The node activation cost and instantiation cost was jointly considered, an integer linear programming model with the optimization goal of minimizing the average deployment network cost was established, and an improved grey wolf optimization service function chain mapping (IMGWO-SFCM) algorithm was proposed.Three strategies: mapping scheme search based on acyclic KSP algorithm, mapping scheme coding and improvement based on reverse learning and nonlinear convergence were added to the standard grey wolf optimization algorithm to form this algorithm. The global search and local search capabilities were well balanced and the service function chain mapping scheme was quickly determined by IMGWO-SFCM.Compared with the comparison algorithm, IMGWO-SFCM reduces the average deployment network cost by 11.86% while ensuring a higher service function chain request acceptance rate.…”

Resource allocation algorithm for secure communication in UAV-assisted D2D communication network
Published 2024-02-01“…To solve the problems of energy limitation, spectrum shortage, and serious co-frequency interference in the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-assisted D2D (device-to-device) communication network under passive eavesdropping, the concept of the network secrecy energy efficiency was introduced by taking into account the secrecy rate and transmit power constraints of each user.Based on the physical layer secure transmission theory, the joint optimization problem of spectrum multiplexing and power control strategies was investigated to maximize the network secrecy energy efficiency. The problem was a nonlinear nonconvex problem, a resource allocation algorithm combining Dinkelbach’s algorithm and the convex approximation algorithm was proposed to transform the nonconvex optimization problem into a geometric planning problem through the convex approximation algorithm and ensure that the original problem converges to the global optimal solution by Dinkelbach’s algorithm.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively mitigate the co-channel interference, improve the network secrecy energy efficiency, and balance the relationship between the secure communication performance and power consumption of the network.…”

Prediction of Landslide Displacement Based on EMD-TAR Combined Model
Published 2022-01-01“…This study aims to more accurately predict the displacement changes of landslides with nonlinear volatility development. The empirical mode decomposition is first employed to process the time series of monitoring surface displacement of a landslide, and then the irregularly changing displacement series is converted into modal components with regular changes, which generates displacement components at different frequencies. Each component is predicted separately so that the mutual influence of errors can be avoided. The comprehensive prediction of the changing trend of displacement series is based on the prediction of the changing trends of all components. The improved threshold autoregressive model able to well describe non-stationary harmonics is used to predict the landslide displacement components. Finally, the modal superposition yields the final predicted displacement. In this way,a combined prediction model based on empirical mode decomposition and threshold autoregressive model is established, and its prediction accuracy is verified with Baishuihe landslide data.Compared with a BP neural network model and a long short-term memory network model, the proposed model has a high prediction accuracy, which provides a new method for the prediction of landslide displacement.…”
