Are in-medium quark-gluon showers strongly coupled? results in the large-N f limit by Peter Arnold, Omar Elgedawy, Shahin Iqbal

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Previous calculations (with certain simplifying assumptions) have found that, after adjusting the value of q ̂ $$ \hat{q} $$ , the leftover effect of overlapping splittings is quite small for purely gluonic large-N c showers but is very much larger for large-N f QED showers, at comparable values of Nα. Here, by investigating the same problem for QCD with quarks in the large-N f limit of many quark flavors, we make a first study of whether the small effect in purely gluonic showers (i) was merely an accident or (ii) is more broadly characteristic of such overlap effects in QCD. …”

District measurement of Omsk regional studies: to the issue of studying the heritage of V. S. Anoshin, N. F. Chernokov, I. S. Korovkin by I. A. Makhnanova

    Published 2018-06-01
“…The article presents information from archival sources supplementing known biobibliographic information about local lore specialists of the Omsk Region — V. S. Anoshin, N. F. Chernokov, I. S. Korovkin. The thesis about the need to study information about local historians is being argued — I. …”

Simultaneous Photocatalytic Reduction of Cr(VI) and Oxidation of Benzoic Acid in Aqueous N-F-Codoped TiO2 Suspensions: Optimization and Modeling Using the Response Surface Methodology by Maria Antonopoulou, Aris Giannakas, Ioannis Konstantinou

    Published 2012-01-01
“…The simultaneous photocatalytic reduction of Cr(VI) and oxidation of benzoic acid (BA) in aqueous suspensions using N-F-codoped TiO2 and simulated solar irradiation were investigated in the present study. …”
