Spatio-temporal Variation Characteristics and Influencing Factors of Bank Collapse in Reservoir Area of Jinghong Hydropower Station by LIANG Ruifeng, XU Peng

“…The reservoir area of Jinghong hydropower station belongs to the medium mountain canyon landform with variable stratum lithologies and complex geological structures.By investigation and review of bank collapse in the reservoir area in 2009,2012,2014 and 2019,this paper summarizes and analyzes the temporal-spatial variation characteristics and influencing factors of bank collapse.The results show that:①Up to the survey period in 2019,there are 299 bank collapses in the reservoir area.The bank collapse with volume between 10~100 m³ occupies the first place,130 bank collapses stop developing and 169 bank collapses are developing;②The number of bank collapse is increasing year by year;the bank collapses are mainly distributed in the reservoir section with steep terrain,thicker loose layer and strong weathered rock;the reservoir area is mainly characterized by small-scale bank collapse,but there is a trend of gradual expansion;the increase of bank collapses which are developing is obviously slowing down and the bank collapses in earlier stage show a gradually stable state;③Specific topography,thicker loose layer,economic trees which are unfavorable to soil and water conservation,and frequent human production activities are the main factors for bank collapses.…”

“…Based on the monthly measured runoff data of Kaidu River and Huangshui Gulley of Tarim River Basin Administration from 1956 to 2021,the variation and annual distribution of runoff in Kaidu River and Huangshui Gulley are studied by the methods of concentration,linear regression,and Mann-Kendall rank test.The results show that the annual runoff of the Kaidu River and the Huangshui Gulley shows an increasing trend,and the annual runoff shows a gradual change of “decreasing,increasing,and decreasing”.The annual runoff of Kaidu River and Huangshui Gulley had abrupt changes in 1996 and 1994,respectively.After abrupt changes,the annual average runoff was higher than that before abrupt changes.The monthly runoff shows an increasing trend,and the monthly runoff increases significantly in winter.The monthly runoff distribution is unimodal throughout the year,and the annual runoff is mainly concentrated in summer,with the peak runoff in July.The mean monthly runoff after the abrupt changes was higher than that before the abrupt changes and multi-year averages.The characteristic values of each index show that the annual runoff distribution of Kaidu River has a uniform development trend,while that of Huangshui Gulley is still concentrated.The runoff of Kaidu River is mainly affected by precipitation and temperature,and that of Huangshui Gulley is mainly affected by temperature change.…”

“…To identify the source,migration and transformation processes,and pollution contribution of nitrate in the water body of ionic rare earth mining areas,this paper determined the anions and nitrate nitrogen-oxygen isotopes of surface and groundwater samples by taking Longnan County as the study area.The results show that the water chemistry type in Longnan County is basically dominated by HCO₃·SO₄-Ca,and the nitrogen-containing compounds are dominated by nitrate.The characteristic plots of the values of δ¹⁵N-NO^-₃ and δ¹⁸O-NO^-₃ combined with the relationship between NO^-₃/Cl^- molar concentration ratios and Cl^- concentrations show that the nitrate concentrations in the Longnan County are mainly influenced by ammonium nitrogen fertilizer,soil nitrogen,manure and mine drainage and that the main process of nitrate transformation is nitrification,with no significant denitrification reactions.The results of the MixSIAR model also show that the nitrate in surface water and groundwater mainly comes from mine drainage,soil nitrogen and manure.…”

Analysis of Variation Characteristics of Precipitation Series from 1970 to 2019 in Qingyuan City by LIU Xuanxuan

“…In order to understand the variation characteristics of precipitation in Qingyuan City in recent decades,and realize the scientific management and utilization of water resources,based on the measured precipitation data of six representative hydrologic stations in Qingyuan from 1970 to 2019,this paper analyzes and studies the trend change,sudden change and periodic characteristics of annual precipitation in Qingyuan by moving average method,Mann-Kendall test method and Morlet wavelet analysis method.The results show that:The annual precipitation of Qingyuan Station and Zhukeng Station showed a decreasing trend,while that of Damiaoxia Station,Yingde Station,Yangshan Station and Lianxian Station showed an increasing trend,but the change was not significant.The sudden drop occurred around 1975 for Qingyuan Station and Yingde Station,around 2015 for Damiaoxia Station and Lianxian Station,around 1982 for Zhukeng Station.and around 1973 and 2015 for Yangshan Station.The precipitation series of each station has obvious alternation of wet and dry seasons.There are 3 to 4 main periods of precipitation at each station.The first and second main periods are generally 22 or 15 years,and the third and fourth main periods are generally 7 or 3 years.After 2015,the annual precipitation at each station turned into a decreasing trend.Currently,Qingyuan is in a period of low precipitation.…”
