Study on the Fast Extension Mechanism of Double-Cavity Shock Absorber with High-Pressure Piston by Xingbo Fang, Hu Chen, Xiaohui Wei, Hong Nie

    Published 2021-01-01
“…This paper analyzes the working principle of the high-pressure piston shock absorber and explains that the high-pressure air cavity pushes the piston rod to extend rapidly, which will cause the cavitation phenomenon in the main oil chamber. Thus, the cavitation in the main oil chamber makes the traditional modeling method of oil-liquid resistance force no longer applicable. …”

Kissing the Church Bell or Ringing the Church Bell? (About a verse of the ode of “Tarsaeiyeh”) by Majid Mansouri

    Published 2024-01-01
“…The famous ode of “Tarsaeiyeh” contains a verse that has puzzled the commentators and proofreaders of Khaqani's collection of poems. The main complexity of the verse in question is the reference that "kissing the church bell" has the ironic meaning of becoming an infidel and leaving the religion of Islam. The main problem in Khaqani's verse is that "kissing the church bell" does not occur in any of the old texts, and unlike kissing the crucifix, "kissing the church bell" was never widespread in Christianity; In addition to the various statements of the commentators of Khaqani's collection of poems, two detailed articles have exclusively dealt with this topic; the first article is about the proposal to correct "Kissing the church bell" to "Drinking the church bell" and the second defends the authenticity of the recording of "kissing the church bell" and rejects the first article. …”

Is the green credit policy useful for improving energy intensity? Evidence from cities in China by Ting Pan, Boqiang Lin

    Published 2025-01-01
“…In terms of research methods, to better evaluate the effect of the policy and exclude the influence of other relevant factors, this study considers the promulgation of the Green Credit Guideline (GCG) in 2012 as the basic event, uses the difference-in-differences (DID) model to investigate the impact of GC on EI, and discusses the main impact mechanism. The key results are follows. (1) GC can effectively reduce urban EI. (2) Public environmental demand positively regulates the negative correlation between GC and EI. (3) GC reduces EI through three main channels: government support, capital investment, and technological innovation; however, the mechanism of industrial structure has no significant effect. (4) The effect of GC is more significant in areas with large urban scales, low environmental regulation intensity, and high industrial agglomeration. …”

Analysis of Sustainable Utilization of Water Resources in 11 Coastal Provinces or Municipalities Based on Ecological Footprint of Water Resources by YANG Tingting

    Published 2024-01-01
“…The ecological footprint, ecological carrying capacity, and sustainable utilization of water resources in 11 coastal provinces or municipalities in China from 2005 to 2020 are analyzed based on the ecological footprint model of water resources. The results show that:①Firstly,the changing trend of the ecological footprint of water resource is similar to that of water environment, with a W-shaped pattern;the proportion of ecological footprint of water environment is the highest among the three types of ecological footprint accounts of water resources, indicating that ecological footprint of water environment is the main source of that of water resources;②Among the four types of ecological footprint of freshwater, the ecological footprint of agricultural water consumption accounts for the highest proportion of the total ecological footprint of the freshwater and is much higher than the ecological footprint of water consumption for industry, living, and ecology (except Shanghai). This indicates that the ecological footprint of of agricultural water consumption is the main contribution type of the ecological footprint of freshwater;③Affected by natural and social factors, the ecological carrying capacity of water resources fluctuates obviously, showing a distribution pattern of high in the south and low in the north;④The water resources are in the ecological deficit state on the whole.Only Guangxi Province has been in the ecological surplus state of water resources during the study period. The load index of water resources shows an increasing trend and is above grade II,which indicates that the utilization degree of water resources is high, with small potential, but the development and utilization are difficult. The ecological footprint of water resources per 10 000 yuan GDP shows a downward trend, and the utilization efficiency of water resources continues to improve,so the sustainable utilization of water resources is possible.…”
