Spatial-temporal differentiation and influencing factors of ecosystem health in Three-River-Source national Park
Published 2025-02-01“…It also showed significant “high-high” and “low-low” clustering effects in the eastern and northwestern regions. (3) Among all the indicators assessed, ecosystem vigor was the indicator that contributed the most to the growth of the ecosystem health index. (4) Variations in ecosystem health of TNP were mainly shaped by land use intensity and precipitation, and interactions between natural environmental factors and human activity factors enhanced the explanation of these changes. …”

Flow stress-strain curves and dynamic recrystallization behavior of high carbon low alloy steels during hot deformation
Published 2025-03-01“…Based on the dislocation density theory, this paper established the stress-strain curve equation and analyzed in detail the critical stresses for nucleation and growth of DRX in relation to the stress-strain curve. The main DRX mechanism of the HCLA steel is discontinuous dynamic recrystallization (dDRX). …”

Smartphone Household Wireless Electroencephalogram Hat
Published 2013-01-01“…During the design phase, we took tethered laboratory EEG dataset and applied fuzzy logic to compute (a) spatiotemporal average of larger magnitude EEG data centers in 0.3 second intervals and (b) inside brainwave sources by Independent Component Analysis blind deconvolution without knowing the impulse response function. Our main contributions are the fidelity of quality wireless EEG data compared to original tethered data and the speed of compressive image recovery. …”

Time-Frequency Characteristics and the Influence Mechanism of the EMR from Coal with Different Joint Angles
Published 2021-01-01“…The duration of the EMR waveform, the dominant frequency of the EMR, and the peak number of the frequency spectrum of coal samples are on the rise. (2) As the joint angle increases, the samples’ failure mode changes from the stage fracture dominated by tension cracks to the rapid fracture with the coexistence of shear and tension cracks and finally to the burst fracture which produces a large number of fragments. This is also the main reason for the difference of the EMR generation mechanism and the signal of samples with different joint angles. (3) According to the experimental results, we established the modified formulas for calculating the EMR threshold value and deviation of coal and rock with joints under different stress environments and revealed that the longer the EMR waveform duration, the higher the dominant frequency, and the more the number of spectrum peaks, the greater the burst risk of coal and rock.…”

Figuring Out Gas and Galaxies In Enzo (FOGGIE). VIII. Complex and Stochastic Metallicity Gradients at z > 2
Published 2025-01-01“…FOGGIE galaxies generally exhibit steep negative gradients for most of their history, with only a few short-lived instances reaching positive slopes that appear to arise mainly from interactions with other galaxies. FOGGIE concurs with other simulation results but disagrees with the robust observational finding that flat and positive gradients are common at z > 1. …”
