Dependence of Geometric and Spectroscopic Properties of Double-walled Boron Nitride Nanotubes on Interwall Distance by Metin Aydin

    Published 2014-10-01
“…The results of the calculations showed that their structural stability strongly depends on the interwall distance, but not on the number of unit cells, and the (0,m) @(0,m+9/10) and (m,m) @(n,n) with n=m+5/6 are the most energetically stable structures. …”

Sequences of 6d SCFTs on generic Riemann surfaces by Shlomo S. Razamat, Evyatar Sabag

    Published 2020-01-01
“…We then use the understanding that collections of minimal punctures might be equivalent to maximal ones to construct trinions with three maximal punctures, and then 4d theories corresponding to arbitrary surfaces, for 6d models described by two M5 branes probing a ℤk singularity. This entails the introduction of a novel type of maximal puncture. …”

Simulating Intraurban Land Use Dynamics under Multiple Scenarios Based on Fuzzy Cellular Automata: A Case Study of Jinzhou District, Dalian by Jun Yang, Weiling Liu, Yonghua Li, Xueming Li, Quansheng Ge

    Published 2018-01-01
“…The following results were obtained: (1) real land use data and simulation data for 2015 were tested using four indices. Under the 5 m × 5 m scale, the model shows good performance for simulation of areas with various land use types. (2) Among simulations under four scenarios, the effect of traffic guidance on the development of construction land was more distinct under the economic development mode, which clearly showed the phenomenon of “agglomeration” along major traffic lines. (3) Jinshitan Street is adjacent to the sea, and land use changes are significant under the 4th scenario, and thus related departments should pay more attention. (4) Shortcomings of conventional cellular automata model in processing complex systems could be mitigated through the integration of fuzzy sets.…”

MRM-BERT: a novel deep neural network predictor of multiple RNA modifications by fusing BERT representation and sequence features by Linshu Wang, Yuan Zhou

    Published 2024-12-01
“…MRM-BERT was evaluated on multiple datasets of 12 commonly occurring RNA modifications, including m6A, m5C, m1A and so on. The results demonstrate that our hybrid model outperforms other models in terms of area under receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) for all 12 types of RNA modifications. …”
