Applying Environmental Isotope Theory to Groundwater Recharge in the Jiaozuo Mining Area, China by Pinghua Huang, Xinyi Wang

    Published 2017-01-01
“…This study establishes the surface water evaporation line in theory and numerically simulates the δD and δ18O value distribution interval of the recharge source of deep groundwater in the Jiaozuo mining area. The recharge elevation is calculated based on hydrogen and oxygen isotope tracer theory. …”

Performance assessment and influencing factors of human settlement improvement in traditional villages based on Balanced Scorecard theory: a case study of Jiaozuo, China by Yanbing He, Chenjing Yin, Xiaohu Mao, Yanhua Guo

    Published 2025-01-01
“…This study reveals the following findings: (1) The performance level of traditional villages in Jiaozuo city ranges between 0.28 and 0.64, with an average value of 0.49, thus indicating a medium level. (2) With respect to the subdimensions of human settlement improvement performance, the policy management dimension (0.88) exhibits the highest value, followed by the villagers dimension (0.48) and the learning and growth dimension (0.27), while the financial benefits dimension (0.10) exhibits the lowest value. (3) The obstacles affecting the performance level of human settlement improvement in different types of traditional villages are characterized by both similarities and differences. …”

Identification of the primary pollution sources and dominant influencing factors of soil heavy metals using a random forest model optimized by genetic algorithm coupled with geodet... by Tong Liu, Mingshi Wang, Mingya Wang, Qinqing Xiong, Luhao Jia, Wanqi Ma, Shaobo Sui, Wei Wu, Xiaoming Guo

    Published 2025-01-01
“…This study analyzed soil HM samples from 53 different land use types in Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, China. Pollution sources were identified using Absolute Principal Component Score (APCS), with 8 anthropogenic factors, 9 natural factors, and 4 soil physicochemical properties mapped using Geographic Information System (GIS) kernel density estimation. …”
