Crowd-based collaboration caching mechanism in smart identifier network
Published 2018-12-01“…Smart identifier network (SINET) is an innovative network architecture.Through dynamic collaboration of service resource, function groups and physical components, the network scalability, resource utilization and service quality were effectively improved by SINET,and an effective solution for the development of industrial Internet of things(IoT) could be provided. To promote content delivery in resource-constrained IoT,caching function was introduced in network components by SINET,and the bandwidth waste caused by traffic redundancy in resource-constrained node could be reduced. Therefore, how to efficiently cache content became an important research topic.Based on SINET architecture,a crowd-based collaboration cache (C2Cache) mechanism was proposed in this scheme.According to the actual network topology, the caching function group was dynamically created and optimized by C2Cache,and a function group as crowd minimum unit to execute the maximum benefit cache (MBC) algorithm was defined to maximize the caching space efficiency. With the self-developed emulation system, named EmuStack, the performance of C2Cache was evaluated. The experimental results show that, comparing with LCE,Random,Prob Cache,LCD and Greedy caching mechanisms, the cache hit rate can be improved effectively, then the average access time can be reduced significantly by C2Cache.In the simulated network scenario, the performance increases 15% to 30%.…”

Design of Hydrological Telemetry System Based on NB-IoT Communication Technology
Published 2022-01-01“…With the progress in society and information technology, the rapid emergency response capability for urban flood, drought, and wind prevention needs to be improved.Given the demand, this paper adopts the low-power Internet of Things (NB-IoT) communication technology to design water and rain telemetry terminals in the way of product integration instead of traditional system integration. This technology further reduces the dependence of the equipment on the external environment and improves the stability and reliability of the front-end data acquisition of the hydrological telemetry system, making it possible to deploy the hydrological telemetry terminal for monitoring on a large scale.According to urban emergency prevention and control requirements,Guangzhou Nansha District Flood and Drought Prevention Headquarters Office constructed a new generation of hydrological telemetry system with low cost, strong scalability, and high reliability.By quickly covering urban flood risk points, the system can master real-time water and rain data in the key position of Nansha District to assist the emergency decision, improve emergency response capabilities, and realize the precise distribution of flood control forces, thus reducing the property losses for urban residents. The results show that the hydrological telemetry system based on NB-IoT communication technology applied on a large scale for the first time in Guangzhou can provide efficient data support for dealing with various disasters in flood seasons.…”

Research on integrated communication and positioning technology based on visible light
Published 2023-05-01“…Visible light wireless technology transmits information through visible light, utilizing light-emitting diode (LED) light sources to achieve communication and positioning while illuminating.Visible light communication positioning integration (VLCP) technology is one of the key supporting technologies for future large-scale Internet of things (IoT) applications.Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) technology can be used to allocate different spectral resources to visible light communication (VLC) and visible light positioning (VLP) systems, while achieving communication and positioning functions.Resource allocation is the key to improving the efficiency of VLCP systems and expanding their applicability.A new resource allocation method based on error vector magnitude(EVM) was proposed.EVM was utilized to allocate subcarriers for positioning and communication in VLCP systems, communication and positioning performance was dynamically adjusted based on channel parameters, system quality of service (QoS) was ensured, and system channel utilization was improved. The experimental results indicate that at 1.5 m×1.5 m×1.5 m indoor environment, the proposed resource allocation algorithm can improve channel utilization by at least 19.5% compared to fixed resource allocation algorithms.Under the premise of comparable performance to algorithms that use signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) for resource allocation, it greatly saves system resources and is easy to apply in practice.…”

Multi-agent resource allocation strategy for UAV swarm-based cooperative sensing
Published 2023-03-01“…Driven by the development of intelligent internet of things (IoT) technology, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) swarms have been widely used for sensing and monitoring in emergency and rescue scenarios. The UAVs automatically sense and discover mission targets in the mission area, recruiting neighboring UAVs to form perception and computation task groups to collaboratively complete the perception, acquisition and processing of data. However, repetitive sensory data and imbalance in the supply and demand of computational resources between multiple tasks cause additional computational and communication overheads and increase the end-to-end processing latency. To address this challenge, a multi-task resource allocation approach combining bionics and multi-agent independent reinforcement learning was proposed, making collaborative resource allocation decisions based on local task information. The method represents the resource requirements of individual tasks as situational information concentrations and dynamically updates the heterogeneous resource requirements of each task by spreading the situational information across task groups. At the same time, it combines multi-agent independent reinforcement learning methods for intelligent decision making in order to collaboratively allocate the heterogeneous resources of each task.Simulation results show that this solution can not only effectively reduce the task execution time, but also significantly improve the computational resource utilization.…”

Graph signal processing based pilot pattern design and channel estimation for OFDM system
Published 2022-09-01“…Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is one of the key technologies in the physical layer of the internet of things (IoT).Pilot design and channel estimation are key issues in OFDM systems. In view of the problem of performance loss by fixed pilot pattern due to the complexity and variety of IoT communication scenarios, a pilot design and channel estimation scheme based on graph signal processing (GSP) was proposed.Firstly, the time-frequency resource block was modeled as a graph signal, and the channel estimation problem was reformulated into a sampling and reconstruction problem of the graph signal. Then, considering the influence of time-frequency fading, a weighted graph adjacency matrix was designed to construct a graph topology structure based on the time-frequency position. On this basis, the pilot position is selected based on the graph signal sampling theory, a greedy pilot pattern design algorithm based on weighted graph topology was proposed. At the same time, signal reconstruction was performed based on the graph signal reconstruction method, and a channel estimation method based on the graph smoothness constraint was proposed.Compared with the conventional scheme, simulation results show that the proposed method achieves higher channel estimation accuracy in high-speed scenarios of double selective channels, and effectively reduces pilot overhead in low-speed scenarios.…”
