Ki-67 and CDK1 control the dynamic association of nuclear lipids with mitotic chromosomes
Published 2025-01-01“…In COS-7 cells, nuclear lipids are enriched at the perichromosomal layer and excluded from intrachromosomal regions during early mitosis but are then detected in intrachromosomal regions during late mitosis, as revealed by TT-ExM (expansion microscopy with trypsin digestion and tyramide signal amplification), an improved expansion microscopy technique that enables high-sensitivity and super-resolution imaging of proteins, lipids, and nuclear DNA. The nuclear nonhistone protein Ki-67 acts as a surfactant to form a repulsive molecular brush around fully condensed sister chromatids in early mitosis, preventing the diffusion or penetration of nuclear lipids into intrachromosomal regions. …”

Histogram of Apparent Diffusion Coefficient to Evaluate the Activity of Thyroid‐Associated Ophthalmopathy
Published 2025-01-01“…ABSTRACT Objective This study aimed to evaluate the activity of extraocular muscles (EOMs) in patients with thyroid‐associated ophthalmopathy (TAO) using turbo spin echo imaging. By analyzing tissue heterogeneity, apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) histogram analysis offers enhanced insights into edema within the EOMs. …”

Differences in emergency nurse triage between a simulated setting and the real world, post hoc analysis of a cluster randomised trial
Published 2022-07-01“…Discriminators leading to the ED were registered for an additional 16.2% (p<0.01), mainly because of a perceived need for imaging. Nurses equally chose flow charts leading to the ED (p=0.41) and equally overruled the protocol (p=0.91). …”
