Energy-saving computation offloading scheme based on Sarsa algorithm in industrial internet of things
Published 2022-09-01“…In order to reduce the total energy consumption of industrial internet of things systems with deadline requirements, a computing offloading scheme based on Sarsa algorithm was proposed.Based on the characteristics of Sarsa algorithm, the energy consumption optimization problem was coupled. The Sarsa algorithm iterated the external state value function, selected the appropriate edge computing server to offload the computing task, and then the particle swarm optimization algorithm solved the resource allocation problem. Finally, the environmental information was updated for the next round of algorithm iteration until the algorithm met the end conditions. The simulation results show that this scheme has faster convergence speed and effectively reduces the system energy consumption.…”

Approach towards the achievable sum rates capacity of Gaussian MIMO broadcast channels
Published 2006-01-01“…Since it is very difficult to compute the sum rates capacity of Gaussian MIMO broadcast channels directly by using dirty paper coding approach,an iterative water-filling algorithm is proposed to obtain the sum capacity bound for multi-access channel and a suboptimal transmission policy to achieve the capacity bound is derived from the algorithm.Based on the duality of multiple-access and broadcast channels, the capacity bound and transmission policy in multi-access channels are mapped into the broadcast channel.Numerical results show that the proposed iterative algorithm is simple and effective to calculate the sum capacity bound, and the capacity achieved by the transmission policy is very close to the theoretical bound. This policy is quite considerable for downlink transmission of MIMO systems.…”

One-way hash function with chaotic dynamic parameters
Published 2008-01-01“…A novel keyed one-way hash function based on chaotic dynamic parameters was presented which combines the advantage of both chaotic system and conventional one-way hash function. In the proposed approach the fixed parameters of conventional hash function is replaced by chaotic dynamic parameters.Compared with the existing chaotic hash func-tions,the new method takes conventional hash function as essential part of iteration instead of using the message blocks directly in chaotic iteration, thus improves the security of hash function and avoids bringing down system performance at the same time.Theoretical and experimental results show that the proposed method has high performance, strong one way property, large key space, sensitivity to initial conditions and chaotic system’s parameters.…”
