Spectral clustering-based energy-efficient resource allocation algorithm in heterogeneous cellular ultra-dense network by Xue WANG, Jing LIU, Jiani SUN, Jizhen ZHANG, Zhihong QIAN

    Published 2021-07-01
“…In order to solve problems of high power consumption, spectrum shortage and low energy efficiency in the ultra-intensive 5G mobile communication scenario, a resource allocation algorithm based on the maximum energy efficiency for the two-layer heterogeneous cellular non-orthogonal multiple access network was proposed. The original NP-hard optimization problem on the downlink communication link of ultra-dense scene was divided into two subproblem, such as frequency resource allocation and power allocation, which became a deterministic constraint optimization problem. The frequency resource allocation scheme of different user groups was obtained by using base station clustering based on the improved k-means algorithm and users grouping based on spectral clustering algorithm. The fraction of energy efficiency optimization was transformed into a solvable continuous convex optimization problem and power distribution was realized by Dinkelbach method, and the Lagrange multiplier iterative algorithm, respectively.Jointly optimize system energy efficiency in terms of base station clustering, user grouping, resource block allocation and power allocation, which minimized the inter-cluster interference and intra-cluster interference of the base station efficiently. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is better on energy efficiency and computational efficiency compared with existing algorithms.…”

Improved LDPC-based short-range frequency-hopping wireless communication system by Wei-dong FANG, Wu-xiong ZHANG, Ming-ming HU, Wei CHEN, Yang YANG

    Published 2017-12-01
“…In short-range wireless communication system(SWCS),the complex scenarios make its transmission face the diverse interference, and lower hardware resource leads to its limited anti-interference capability. To achieve the reliable transmission,a frequency-hopping-based SWCS (FH-SWCS)with improved LDPC (I-LDPC) code was constructed. In FH-SWCS,a low-complexity check-sum updating(LCU)algorithm was proposed to reduce the amount of computation.LCU-based multi-threshold bit flipping (LCU-MTBF) algorithm was given to increase the reliability of bit-flipping, improving decoding performance and reduce the complexity of decoding. The simulation results demonstrate that LCU is suitable for multiple hard decisions decoding algorithm, and it can reduce the computational complexity of original decoding algorithm without affecting its performance. When BER is 10−5,and iterations number is 5,0.15dB performance gain can be achieved, and the number of additions algorithm can be reduced about 40% in LCU-MTBF.In FH-SWCS with I-LDPC,when BER is 10−4,and SNR is 15dB,the performance gain about 7dB can be achieved to improve the anti-interference of the system effectively.…”

Day-ahead Clearing Method for High-proportion Hydropower Electricity Market by ZHANG Yang, SHEN Jianjian, ZHAO Qihao, XIE Mengfei, JIA Zebin

    Published 2023-01-01
“…How to handle the complex characteristics of cascade hydropower and solve the competitive spillage and power shortage problem is one of the key issues in the clearing of the high-proportion hydropower day-ahead spot electricity market. Therefore, combined with the project in Yunnan, this paper proposes a day-ahead clearing method for the high-proportion hydropower electricity market. In this method, the hydraulic constraints in the clearing model are replaced by the post-hydraulic check.Combined with the essential causes of competitive spillage and power shortage problems, the paper constructs a conditional constraint set including cascaded hydropower linkage constraints and spillage control constraints, and corresponding trigger conditions respectively. Moreover, the constraint boundaries are dynamically updated to gradually reduce competitive spillage and power shortage in the iterative solution procedure.A settlement compensation strategy is finally designed to provide corresponding benefits for plants involved in solving the spillage. The proposed method is validated by a real-world hydropower-dominated provincial system ranking second in China. The results show that competitive spillage and power shortage can be avoided or reduced substantially. It is demonstrated that this method meets the requirements of practicability and timeliness for day-ahead spot clearing of hydropower-dominated provincial power systems.…”

Robust multiview subspace clustering method based on multi-kernel low-redundancy representation learning by Ao LI, Zhuo WANG, Xiaoyang YU, Deyun CHEN, Yingtao ZHANG, Guanglu SUN

    Published 2021-11-01
“…Considering the impact of high dimensional data redundancy and noise interference on multiview subspace clustering, a robust multiview subspace clustering method based on multi-kernel low redundancy representation learning was proposed.Firstly, by analyzing and revealing the redundancy and noise influence characteristics of data in kernel space, a multi-kernel learning method was proposed to obtain a robust low-redundancy representation of local view-specific data, which was utilized to replace the original data to implement subspace learning.Secondly, a tensor analysis model was introduced to carry out multiview fusion, so as to learn the potential low-rank tensor structure among different subspace representations from global perspective. It would capture the high-order correlation among views while maintaining their unique information. In this method, robust low-redundancy representation learning, view-specific subspace learning and fusion potential subspace structure learning were unified into the same objective function, so that they could promote each other during iterations.A large number of experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method is superior to the existing mainstream multiview clustering methods on several objective evaluation indicators.…”
