Ecological Management Zoning Identification by Coupling Blue-Green and Gray Infrastructure Networks: A Case Study of Guizhou Province, China by Shuang Song, Xuanhe Zhang, Shaohan Wang, Yue Gong

    Published 2025-01-01
“…However, the existing zoning methods are overly focused on ecological functional attributes and fail to adequately consider the impacts of human activities, resulting in an insufficiently rational allocation of resources. Taking Guizhou Province as an example, using multi-source data and spatial analysis tools, this study proposed an ecological management zoning framework based on the coupling analysis of the blue-green infrastructure (BGI) network and gray infrastructure (GI) network. …”

Research on Regional Socio-Economic-Environmental Evaluation Based on Combined Objective Weight Method-Taking Sinan County of Guizhou Province as an Example by YU Hongmin, HE Linhong, LI Xinan, WANG Mengqi

    Published 2023-01-01
“…With the high-quality development at the national level, the comprehensive evaluation of regional coordinated development has become a hot topic of concern, and the evaluation of regional coordinated development has evolved from a single evaluation to a comprehensive evaluation. There is a complex coupling relationship between regional society, economy, and environment. In order to achieve sustainable and coordinated regional development,a comprehensive evaluation system including nine secondary evaluation indicators and 22 tertiary evaluation indicators was constructed in terms of three dimensions:society, economy, and environment.According to the data of Sinan County in Guizhou Province from 2014 to 2018,the variation coefficient method, entropy weight method, and other methods were used to calculate the comprehensive weight of each indicator of the social-economic-environmental system. Then the coupling coordination degree was calculated,so as to provide a scientific basis for the sustainable development of the county. The results show that from 2014 to 2018,① the effect of environmental improvement is relatively lagging behind that of the other two systems and can be classified as a relatively lagging type of environment;② the development of the social subsystem first decreases and then increases, and it then decreases to the initial level, while the economic and environmental subsystems show a stable increasing trend;③ the coupling degree and coordinated development degree of the system show an increasing trend year by year, and the system is now on the verge of high coupling degree and dysfunctional development.…”

Analysis of Landslide Motion Characteristics Based on UDEC: A Case Study of the Landslide in Shiban Village,Ganlong Town,Songtao County, Guizhou Province by LU Bifeng, ZHANG Hui, XIE Peihong

    Published 2023-01-01
“…On July 8,2020,a landslide occurred in Shiban Village,Ganlong Town,Songtao County,Guizhou Province, causing casualties and diverting the river below.Through field investigation and section measurement, the development characteristics and formation mechanism of the landslide are analyzed. In addition, the motion characteristics of the landslide are simulated by the discrete element program UDEC to restore the deformation and failure process of the landslide from start-up to river blocking. The time-effect displacement curves of different parts of the landslide are obtained. The conclusions are as follows:The landslide is produced under the comprehensive action of unfavorable topography and geomorphology and formation lithology combination, rock mass structure, rainfall, and human engineering activities. The sliding surface is the contact surface of marlstone and coarse-grained limestone. The formation process of the landslide can be divided into three stages:leading-edge slip-trailing-edge crack, whole slippage, and collision accumulation. The landslide has a violent starting effect, and the maximum start-up rate can reach 5.24 m/s.The displacement and deformation rates of the trailing edge lag behind those of the leading edge, and the maximum horizontal displacement of the landslide is 217.5 m.…”
