Interannual Variations of Upwelling in the East Coastof Guangdong and Its Correlation with Fisheries by WEN Hao, HONG Bo

Published 2020-01-01
“…Based on thedata of temperature, chlorophyll concentration and wind field from 2002 to 2016, marine catches inGuangdong Province from 2010 to 2018, this paper studies the interannual variation trend ofintensity and center of upwelling along the east coast of Guangdong Province, and discusses therelationship between upwelling intensity and wind speed, marine catches and upwelling intensity. The results show that in the past 15 years, the intensity of upwelling in the east coast ofGuangdong Province is generally strengthened; the center of upwelling is at 23.6°~23.7°N in allprobability, and there is a trend of northward movement. The coastal wind plays an important rolein the interannual variation of upwelling; excluding the damage of fishing structure and otherfactors, the correlation between marine catches and upwelling in Guangdong Province is very high, and the correlation coefficient reaches to -0.81.…”

Blockage Types and Status Evaluation of Drainage System in Highway Tunnels in Guangdong Province by LI Kejian, LIU Xiabing, WENG Jianhong, ZHOU Yu

Published 2024-01-01
“…In order to evaluate the blockage status of the drainage system in operational highway tunnels, this paper summarized the types of problems and blockage materials in highway tunnel drainage systems and proposed an evaluation method for blockage status based on investigations of several highway tunnels in Guangdong Province. The results primarily indicated the following:① The water leakage problems in tunnels were closely related to seasonal rainfall over time and were spatially connected to the distribution of unfavorable geological conditions such as karst.and the decline of drainage function caused by drainage system siltation was an important cause of tunnel water damage.② The types of blockage materials in the highway tunnel drainage system included silt, sand and gravel, concrete blocks or foreign matter, and crystallization or scale deposits. The proposed evaluation indicators for blockage status were as follows:filling degree, flow status, turbidity degree, and accumulation degree.③ Based on the priority division of evaluation indicators for blockage status, a blockage status evaluation method of highway tunnel drainage systems was proposed, and this method has been successfully applied to the drainage system remediation project of the Xinwu Tunnel. The research results can provide reference for the operation and maintenance of highway tunnel drainage systems.…”

Reliability and Validity of the Chinese Version of SF-36 Scale in Guangdong Occupational Rehabilitation by Huiling ZHOU, Bing CHEN, Jiayan ZENG, Xunwen LU

Published 2018-06-01
“…Objective:To evaluate the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of SF-36 scale in occupational rehabilitation patients in Guangdong Province. Methods:A total of 1,129 patients who participated in occupational rehabilitation were selected and filled in the SF-36 (Chinese version) by self-filling or interviewing. Results:The physiologic function (RP) ICC was 0.670.Twice repeat evaluations showed that the IFC of the total and other seven dimensions were all greater than 0.75 (P<0.001);The Cronbach's alpha coefficients of the total and eight dimensions were all higher than 0.7;Split-half reliability coefficient was higher than 0.6 (P<0.001) and split-half reliability was higher than 0.7 in eight dimensions (P<0.001).The success rate of the pooled validity was 94.3%,and the success rate of discriminant validity was 100%.Factor analysis produced a total of two common factors. …”
