Reliability modeling and planning of energy harvesting based on uncertainty theory
Published 2018-05-01“…Energy harvesting network is a new form of computer networks.It can convert the environmental energy into usable electric energy,and supply the electrical energy as a primary or secondary power source to the electronic device for network communication.However,the energy harvesting process has great volatility and uncertainty,the traditional analytical method based on probability distribution function to describe the energy collection process can not accurately simulate the actual situation,resulting in higher depletion probability of nodes,then the reliability cannot be guaranteed as a result.For this,the energy harvesting reliability of energy harvesting nodes was defined,represented with the degree of normal operation,respectively set up the node reliability models with no battery and infinite battery.As an example for maximum node achievable rate,the uncertain multilevel programming model based on node reliability was put forward,then the network efficiency was improved under the premise of ensuring node reliability.An energy average allocation (EAA) algorithm was proposed and the upper bound of competitive ratio of the algorithm was proved theoretically.Finally,the actual wind power data was taken as an example to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed model and method.…”

Indoor positioning and orientating system based on visible light communication
Published 2020-12-01“…For the insufficient research on the simultaneously positioning and orientating system, a VLC positioning and orientating algorithm based on combining particle swarm optimization (PSO) and beetle antennae search (BAS) was proposed.The PSO algorithm was used to explore the optimal direction of the receiver and meanwhile the BAS algorithm was used to search the best three-dimensional coordinates of each particle in the current direction.Firstly, the indoor space of 3 m×3 m×5 m and the SNR of 40 dB were assumed in the simulation, the proposed VLC indoor positioning and orientating system could achieve the average positioning error of 4.82 cm and average orientating error of 2.24°.Then, in the laboratory space of 0.9 m×0.9 m×1.5 m, the experimental demonstration was accomplished for the first time, and the average positioning and orientating errors of this experimental system were 5.32 cm and 5.99°, respectively.Compared with the traditional VLC indoor positioning schemes, the proposed VLC positioning and orientating system does not need the prior knowledge of the height and direction of the receiver, which greatly reduces the system complexity and is applicable to a wider range of applications.…”

Resource scheduling strategy based on simulated annealing algorithm in hybrid D2D cellular networks
Published 2017-04-01“…D2D communication is a short distance communication mode in the future 5G network.In the process of communication,the information is transmitted from the sender to the receiver directly,without the need to transmit through the base station.The introduction of D2D communication in the traditional cellular network can greatly improve the total throughput of the system,increase the utilization of spectrum resources and reduce the power consumption of the transmitter.A resource allocation method which was used in hybrid D2D cellular network was mainly introduced,spectrum resources was distributed by Lagrange multiplier method combined with simulated annealing algorithm,a consideration of channel capacity and energy consumption of the resource scheduling strategy based on simulated annealing algorithm was put forward.This algorithm was simulated by the simulation platform in Vienna,compared to the traditional greedy optimization algorithm,it can significantly increase the total system throughput and bandwidth utilization and reduce the power consumption.In addition,the distributed algorithm was adopted,that D2D users searched for a suitable target channel and calculated their transmit power according to the algorithm steps,which reduced the signaling overhead of the base station.…”
