Gene regulation and signaling transduction in mediating the self-renewal, differentiation, and apoptosis of spermatogonial stem cells by Cai-Mei He, Dong Zhang, Zuping He

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Spermatogenesis, by definition, is a complex process by which spermatogonial stem cells (SSCs) self-renew to maintain stem cell population within the testes and differentiate into mature spermatids. It is of great significance to uncover gene regulation and signaling pathways that are involved in the fate determinations of SSCs with aims to better understand molecular mechanisms underlying human spermatogenesis and identify novel targets for gene therapy of male infertility. …”

Rapport femme-forêt : vers un écoféminisme de la complexité  by Marie Nicole Taha Nkoum

    Published 2018-05-01
“…However, the contribution of women, who are among the most vulnerable and most affected by this degradation, is still poorly documented and therefore very poorly valued. The great majority of scientific productions within the interfaces between feminism and ecology, although they are constructive, remain very tainted by a sort of battle of dualism, common to a certain scientific discourse, the method of which seems to us somewhat outdated. …”

Resource allocation scheme in two-way multi-relay OFDM system by Xuan-wei LIANG, Qi ZHU, Guang-jun LIANG

    Published 2017-09-01
“…A joint optimization scheme for power allocation and subcarrier pairing under high SNR in two-way multi-relay OFDM system was proposed.Unlike those schemes in which relays use subcarriers separately, all the relays were allowed to forward signal on each subcarrier pair for providing much space diversity. With the constraint of total system power, the proposed scheme firstly allocated each relay power with Cauchy inequality with the assuming that the total relay power was fixed. Then the dichotomy was used to calculate the power allocation between the source node and the relay node by maximizing the equivalent channel gain for different subcarrier pairs.Lastly, the power of different subcarrier pairs was allocated by convex programming, and the subcarriers were paired by Hungarian algorithm to obtain the maximum system capacity. There was no optimal power allocation method with low complexity because of the complexity of the power allocation algorithm in two-way multi-relay networks. This algorithm greatly reduces the complexity of power allocation and simulation results show that the proposed scheme outperforms the relay selection scheme and the relays use subcarriers separately scheme.…”
