A Santidade Enfurecida by Leandro Duarte Rust

    Published 2020-07-01
“…Although tensions between lay and clergy attracted, for more than a century, the largest share of the historians' attention - especially the so-called struggles between the priesthood and the empire -, the struggles between segments of the Church itself multiplied and intensified, achieving great documentary repercussion. Among the most frequent cases of disputes during the "Gregorian Reformation Era" were clashes between monks and bishops, whose outbreak had repercussions in numerous directions: on aristocratic domination, patrimonial control networks, foundations of ecclesiology, urban mobilizations, legal consensus. …”

Analysis of Spatio-temporal Evolution of Land Use and Landscape Pattern in Liuxi River Basin Driven by Rapid Urbanization by ZHU Zhenjie, YANG Zibo, LIU Bingjun

    Published 2020-01-01
“…Since the implementation of the policy of reform and opening up,the dramatic evolution of land use and landscape pattern in basins has been brought about by the rapid development of urbanization, threatening the health of its natural eco-hydrological environment.Taking Liuxi River basin in Guangzhou as research object, this paper uses the land use transition matrix and landscape pattern indexes to analyze the spatio-temporal evolution of land use types and landscape pattern based on the land use data of different years from 1980 to 2015.The results show that:①The arable land, which is one of the dominant landscape in Liuxi River basin, was greatly converted to construction land and gradually fragmented and homogenized, resulting in the fragmentation and homogenization of landscape pattern in whole basin;②The dramatic changes of land use types and landscape pattern mainly occurred in the middle and lower reaches, especially during the period from 2000 to 2010;③The rapid growth of total population and the increase of proportion of tertiary industry were main urbanization indicators for the conversion of arable land into construction land.…”

Comparison of MIMO based on high capacity LPWAN technology TurMassTM and LoRa by Hao JIANG, Hongming CHEN, Yilong CAO, Haoyang CUI

    Published 2021-12-01
“…With the rapid development of low power wide area network (LPWAN) technologies, more and more IoT terminals need to access the network. In order to deal with the challenge of massive random access, grant-free random access with massive MIMO (MGFRA) was proposed for LPWAN scenarios. The MGFRA was introduced and the performance of MGFRA to validate its performance advantage of greatly improving the channel access capacity with extreme low signaling overhead was theoretically analyzed.Further, TurMassTMwas introduced, which is a high-capacity LPWAN technology based on MGFRA.To demonstrate the advantages of TurMassTMin practical applications, TurMassTMand LoRa in signal coverage, communication rate, network capacity, low power consumption and low cost in typical LPWAN communication scenarios were compared. The comparison results show that TurMassTMhas outstanding advantages in signal coverage, communication rate, network capacity, low power consumption and low cost compared with LoRa.…”

Spatial Network Resource Scheduling Based on Joint MPTCP with SDN for SDN/NFV Architecture by Min JIA, Jia GUO, Meilin XU, Qing GUO, Xuemai GU

    Published 2020-09-01
“…The space network is mainly composed of satellite networks of various architectures with many network nodes.Compared with the ground network, the nodes in the satellite network are diff cult to observe and control, and the network equipment is extremely expensive. The rapid increase in the number of users has brought a great burden to the network, and at the same time caused the network resources to be unreasonably used. The application of traditional network architecture to large-scale satellite networks results in the inability to fl exibly confi gure the network and uneven resource allocation.Aim to the above problems,a space network resource scheduling system based on SDN(software defi ned network)/NFV(network function virtualization) architecture was proposed to realized real-time monitoring of space network resources. At the same time,it combined MPTCP (multipath TCP) and SDN to completed the fl exible confi guration of the space network and the rational use of its resources. It improved the throughput of the network.…”

Two-layer grouped Byzantine fault tolerance algorithm for UAV swarm by Yu CHEN, Lianxing JIA

    Published 2022-01-01
“…To reduce the communication complexity and improve the robustness of blockchain network, a two-layer grouped Byzantine fault tolerance algorithm for unmanned ariel vehicle (UAV) swarm was proposed.First, nodes were divided into several groups according to the formation results of UAV swarm.A portion of high-reputation nodes were selected from each group to form a committee, and other nodes were used as shared nodes.Threshold signature techniques were employed to reduce communication complexity. In that way, nodes from other groups only needed to communicate with the committee nodes of the current group, thus greatly reducing the average communication delay. In addition, the hierarchical structure, which made the identity of the primary node hidden in the committee, reduced the risk of being adaptively attacked by the Byzantine nodes and improves the robustness of the system.Experimental results demonstrates that the proposed algorithm significantly reduces the delay of the consensus process and can effectively ensure the aliveness of the system compared with the comparison algorithm.…”
