“…A new rate-distortion model of H.264 encoder was firstly set up according to the rate distortion（R-D） charac-teristics of H.264.Then,the end-to-end video transmission distortion was analyzed and based on the R-D model of the H.264 encoder and the error combat characteristics of the Turbo code,an adaptive joint source channel coding（JSCC） over wireless channel was proposed,which could optimize the rate allocation of the available network bandwidth be-tween source coding and channel coding adaptively according to the actual condition of current wireless channel,so as to improve the robustness of the video transmission.The experiment results indicate that,compared with fix choice of channel coding rate,the proposed JSCC scheme is can greatly improve the transmission robustness and achieve better reconstructed video quality at the receiver.…”

“…Firstly, a quantization method was proposed by quantized value indicating the modulation level instead of the full values of channel quality information（CQI） and the achievable average spectrum efficiency showed no loss compared with perfect case.Secondly, employment of the integrated design that combined with opportunistic, best, and hybrid feedback scheme was considered and the close-form expression of average spectrum efficiency was deduced in various case.Finally, the calculation of optimal feedback parameters was confirmed from two aspects of feedback channel capacity and capacity relative loss.Extensive simulations were presented to evaluate these proposed strategies.The results match with the numeral analysis very well.The proposed partial feedback schemes can reduce the feedback load greatly with the same system capability, only if the feedback parameters be chosen properly.Wherein, the hybrid feedback combined with quantization performs best and provides the instruction to design the channel feedback of practical systems.…”

“…According to a network model based on the sequential probability ratio test（SPRT），one detection method of selfish routes with respect to the routing functionality in wireless sensor network was developed.Through the analysis of the observed sample values of the nodes，the calculated routes evaluation values were compared with the known threshold values so as to determine whether it was selfish route.Simulation results show that the sequential sampling scheme based on the sequential probability ratio test had high detection accuracy，and the number of the required observation was greatly reduced，so it could operate faster.A merit of SPRT is that the number of observations required to test statistical hypotheses need not be determined in advance when compared to other methods based on a fixed number of observations.This allows for making prompt decision on the behavior of damage to the network，thus it can limit the scope of the damaged networks.…”
