Securing guarantee of the blockchain network:attacks and countermeasures by Peipei JIANG, Qian WANG, Yanjiao CHEN, Qi LI, Chao SHEN

    Published 2021-01-01
“…While the security of blockchain has been the central concern of both academia and industry since the very start, new security threats continue to emerge, which poses great risks to the blockchain ecosystem.A systematic study was conducted on the most state-of-the-art research on potential security issues of blockchain.Specifically, a taxonomy was developed by considering the blockchain framework as a four-layer system, and the analysis on the most recent attacks against security loopholes in each layer was provided.Countermeasures that can strengthen the blockchain were also discussed by highlighting their fundamental ideas and comparing different solutions. Finally, the forefront of research and potential directions of blockchain security were put forward to encourage further studies on the security of blockchain.…”

Research on Discrete Element Numerical Simulation of Loess Landslide under Earthquakes by GUAN Xiaodi

    Published 2022-01-01
“…In order to deeply explore the motion and slip laws of loess landslide under earthquake loads, this paper used the discrete element method to numerically simulate the motion of the landslide mass under earthquake loads based on the Heifangtai Landslide in Gansu. The results show that the loess landslide has three parts under the earthquake loads, namely, the source area, the circulation area, and the accumulation area. The residual soil structure in the source area is looser than that before the sliding. In addition, the sliding displacement of particles at different positions near the slope surface in the source area varies greatly. The displacement of particles at the leading edge of the landslide mass is the largest, and that of particles at the trailing edge of the landslide is smaller. As the depth increases, the displacement of particles gradually decreases, and the difference is large.…”

Robust reconstruction of Wyner-Ziv frame for no-feedback distributed video coding by Hao QIN, Xue-lu PENG, Bin SONG, Hai-hua LIU

    Published 2012-01-01
“…In no-feedback distributed video coding,a robust reconstruction algorithm for Wyner-Ziv frame was proposed. To avoid the video quality degradation caused by the bit plane decoding errors,DC coefficients and AC coefficients were reconstructed with different methods. In particular, for each failure decoded quantized DC coefficient, with the help of the correlation information from the encoder, the algorithm was able to adaptively adjust the contribution of the quantized side information and the decoded quantized DC coefficient to the reconstruction.Simulation results show that compared with the MMSE (minimum mean square error) algorithm, the proposed method can increase the average PSNR (peak signal-to-noise ratio) of reconstructed video greatly, and also yield significant improvement of the subjective video quality.…”

Secure supply and demand relationship perception routing in intermittently connected wireless networks by Peng YANG, Yang TANG, Na SHU, Ru-yan WANG

    Published 2015-11-01
“…Because of low message delivery probability and nodes malicious attack behaviors in the quota-limit routing for intermittently connected wireless networks,a secure routing is proposed based on supply and demand relationship perception.According to activity degree, average residual buffer ratio of neighbors and encountered nodes reputation dynamically perceived by nodes, the encountered nodes in real time build the supply and demand model and determine the message quota allocation combined with the message survival ratio in common. When network status meets constraint situations, update message quota dynamically based on demand elasticity of message.Simulation results show that the proposed strategy effectively reduces influence of nodes malicious behaviors and improve network performance greatly.…”
