Long-term Radio Monitoring of the Fast X-Ray Transient EP 240315a: Evidence for a Relativistic Jet by Roberto Ricci, Eleonora Troja, Yu-Han Yang, Muskan Yadav, Yuan Liu, Hui Sun, Xuefeng Wu, He Gao, Bing Zhang, Weimin Yuan

    Published 2025-01-01
“…We find that the multiwavelength counterpart of EP 240315A is well described by a model of relativistic jet seen close to its axis, with jet half-opening angle θ _j ≈ 3° and beaming-corrected total energy E ≃ 4 × 10 ^51 erg, typical of GRBs. These results show that a substantial fraction of FXRTs may be associated to standard GRBs and that sensitive X-ray monitors, such as EP and the proposed HiZ-GUNDAM and Theseus missions, can successfully pinpoint their relativistic outflows up to high redshifts.…”

m6A Reader PRRC2A Promotes Colorectal Cancer Progression via CK1ε‐Mediated Activation of WNT and YAP Signaling Pathways by Xi Wu, Shiyang Wang, Yuwei Pan, Mengzhen Li, Manyu Song, Hanfu Zhang, Min Deng, Xu Yang, Jiuzhi Xu, Shuo Zhang, Jinhua Zhang, Fengchao Wang, Maksim V. Plikus, Cong Lv, Lu Yu, Zhengquan Yu

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Through multiomics analysis, PRRC2A directly targeted CSNK1E (encoding CK1ε), maintaining its RNA stability in an m6A‐dependent manner, and that elevated CK1ε can concomitantly result in activation of the WNT and YAP signaling pathways. …”

Plant-microbe interactions influence plant performance via boosting beneficial root-endophytic bacteria by Sai Guo, Rubin Pan, Yan Zhang, Quanwei Gu, Qirong Shen, Jian Yang, Luqi Huang, Zongzhuan Shen, Rong Li

    Published 2025-02-01
“…However, the understanding of how medicinal plants with different growth status (i.e., healthy and disease) shape the assembly of root-endophytic microorganisms and the functional importance of these microorganisms in improving plant performance remains largely unknown. …”

Unusual Space Weathering on a CE-5 Metal Grain Indicates Deceptive Surface Signatures of M-type Asteroids by Tian Zhang, Hong Tang, Xiongyao Li, Yuanyun Wen, Bing Mo, Wen Yu, Chuanjiao Zhou, Jianzhong Liu

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Here, we report unusual space weathering characteristics associated with a natural metal grain found in Chang'e 5 lunar soil. Microcraters, impact glass, iron whiskers, and unique vesicular rims on the surface of this grain help to explain the unusual properties of some potential M-type asteroids, including low thermal inertia and density. …”

Excess Ultraviolet Emission at High Galactic Latitudes: A New Horizons View by Jayant Murthy, J. Michael Shull, Marc Postman, Joel Wm. Parker, Seth Redfield, Nathaniel Cunningham, G. Randall Gladstone, Jon P. Pineau, Pontus Brandt, Anne J. Verbiscer, Kelsi N. Singer, Harold A. Weaver, Richard C. Henry, S. Alan Stern

    Published 2025-01-01
    “…We found a linear correlation between the CUVB and the Planck E ( B − V ) with offsets at zero-reddening of 221 ± 11 photon units at 1000 Å and 264 ± 24 photon units at 1500 Å (4.4 ± 0.2 nW m ^−2 sr ^−1 at 1000 Å and 5.3 ± 0.5 nW m ^−2 sr ^−1 at 1500 Å). …”
