Application of HEC-RAS in 2D Dam Break Simulation-A Case Study of Hongqi Reservoir by HUANG Binbin, GE Liming, XU Xian, WANG Yue

“…This paper simulates the dam break of Hongqi reservoir by HEC-RAS software,studies the discharge hydrograph of breach,the local flow pattern downstream of the breach,the propagation of dam break flood wave in flood area and the life loss caused by dam break flood,discusses the distribution of flood velocity and flood inundation depth,and draws the risk map of inundation depth.After analysis of the discharge hydrograph of breach,it is found that the larger the instantaneous breach size is,the greater the initial discharge is,and the faster the initial discharge hydrograph changes,while the smaller the breach size is,the slower the discharge hydrograph changes.Based on the evaluation of life loss caused by dam break flood,the loss of life and its severity coefficient are lower when the alarm time is longer.When there is no alarm,the life loss reaches 210.When the alarm time is 1 hour,the loss of life is obviously reduced,and the life loss is 0 when the alarm time is 3.5 hours.…”

“…A new type of 3-PPR spherical parallel mechanism is proposed.Due to the mobile pair special trajectory in each branch chain,the mobile pair can be equivalent conversion for revolute pair.Based on screw theory,each branched chain motion screw system is given.The mobility of this mechanism is analyzed firstly with the amendment G-K formula,The numbers of degrees of freedom is obtained.Secondly,by using the solution method of inverse spiral system and matrix theory knowledge,under the premise of Jacobian matrix of the 3-PPR spherical parallel mechanism is solved,the rank of matrix is analyzed,the singular configuration conditions and the type of singular configuration of the mechanism are obtained.In the end,according to the forward kinematics solution and interference condition,the Matlab software is used to draw up the stable working space.Research shows that a 3-PPR parallel spherical mechanism singularity is less,and easy to avoid,has good application prospect.…”

“…In order to solve the problem that the load of big data stream computing platform fluctuates drastically while the cluster was suffering from the performance bottleneck due to the shortage of computing resources,the load prediction based elastic resource scheduling strategy in Flink (LPERS-Flink) was proposed.Firstly,the load prediction model was set up as the foundation to propose the load prediction algorithm and predict the variation tendency of the processing load.Secondly,the resource judgment model was set up to identify the performance bottleneck and resource redundancy of the cluster while the resource scheduling algorithm was proposed to draw up the resource rescheduling plan.Finally,the online load migration algorithm was proposed to execute the resource rescheduling plan and migrate processing load among nodes efficiently.The experimental results show that the strategy provides better performance promotion in the application with drastically fluctuating processing load.The scale and resource configuration of the cluster responded to the variation of processing load in time and the communication overhead of the load migration was reduced effectively.…”
