Case Study of Urban Stormwater Simulation in Foshan Based on Urban Time-Variant Gain Model by WANG Chao, GONG Siqi, XIAO Yu

Published 2023-01-01
“…The prerequisite for urban stormwater simulation and analysis is to accurately grasp urban rainfall-runoff response laws. This paper analyzes the nonlinear response law of rainfall-runoff and builds a TVGM-urban model to simulate and analyze the measured rainfall and storm scenarios designed under different recurrence periods by taking the Baolitongjifu neighborhood in Chancheng District,Foshan as the research object. The results are as follows. There is a power function correlation between rainfall and runoff in the city. The non-linear relationship between maximum rainfall intensity and peak flood flow can be verified by eight selected flood data in the neighborhood with the fitting effect of the power function (R2=0.6207,p<0.05) better than that of the linear relationship (R2=0.5629,p<0.05).Based on the identification of the catchment area and the subsurface classification, the TVGM-urban model is built in the Baolitongjifu neighborhood, and the model accuracy is verified by the measured rainfall and runoff data.Generally, the simulation results ensure that the Nash efficiency coefficient is greater than 0.7,and the simulation error of the water volume and peak value is within 20%,which can well meet the urban stormwater simulation requirements. The results can provide support and references for analyzing urban rainfall and runoff response laws and studying urban stormwater simulation.…”

Novel distinguisher for SM4 cipher algorithm based on deep learning by Huijiao WANG, Xin ZHANG, Yongzhuang WEI, Lingchen LI

Published 2023-07-01
“…A method was proposed to construct a deep learning distinguisher model for large state block ciphers with large-block and long-key in view of the problem of high data complexity, time complexity and storage complexity of large state block cipher distinguishers, and the neural distinguishers were constructed for SM4 algorithm.Drawing inspiration from the idea that ciphertext difference could improve the performance of distinguishers, a new input data format for neural distinguisher was designed by using partial difference information between ciphertext pairs as part of the training data. The residual neural network model was used to construct the neural distinguisher. The training dataset for large blocks was preprocessed.Additionally, an improved strategy for model relearning was proposed to address the high specificity and low sensitivity of the constructed distinguisher.Experimental results show that the proposed deep learning model for SM4 can achieve 9 rounds neural distinguisher. The accuracy of 4~9 rounds distinguishers can reach up to 100%, 76.14%, 65.20%, 59.28%, 55.89% and 53.73% respectively. The complexity and accuracy of the constructed differential neural distinguisher are significantly better than those of traditional differential distinguishers, and it is currently the best neural distinguisher for the block cipher SM4 to our knowledge. It also proves that the deep learning method is effective and feasible in the security analysis of block cipher of large block.…”

Research on mimic decision method based on deep learning by Xiaohan YANG, Guozhen CHENG, Wenyan LIU, Shuai ZHANG, Bing HAO

Published 2024-02-01
“…Due to software and hardware differentiation, the problem of false positives mistakenly identified as network attack behavior caused by inconsistent mimic decision results frequently occurs. Therefore, a mimic decision method based on deep learning was proposed.By constructing an unsupervised autoencoder-decoder deep learning model, the deep semantic features of diverse normal response data were explored from different executions and its statistical rules were analyzed and summarized.Additionally, the offline learning-online decision-making mechanism and the feedback optimization mechanism were designed to solve false positive problem, thereby accurately detecting network attacks and improving target system security resilience.Since statistical rules of normal response data was understood and mastered by deep learning model, the mimic decision results among different executions could remain consistent, indicating that the target system was in a secure state. However, once the target system was subjected to a network attacks, the response data outputted by the different executions was deviated from statistical distribution of deep learning model. Therefore, inconsistent mimic decision results were presented, indicating that the affected execution was under attack and the target system was exposed to potential security threats. The experiments show that the performance of the proposed method is significantly superior to the popular mimic decision methods, and the average prediction accuracy is improved by 14.89%, which is conducive to integrating the method into the mimic transformation of real application to enhance the system’s defensive capability.…”
