Secure controlling method for scalable botnets by Qiang LIU, Pengfei LI, Zhangjie FU

    Published 2023-02-01
“…., internet of things (IoT) devices.Future botnets will become more cross-platform and stealthy, which introduces severe security risks to cyberspace. Therefore, in-depth research on botnets can offer study targets to corresponding defensive studies, which is very meaningful for designing an architecture to secure the next-generation cyberspace.Hence, an HTTP-based scalable botnet framework was proposed to address the problems of compatibility, stealthiness and security.Specifically, the framework adopted a centralized controlling model. Moreover, it used the HTTP protocol as the designed botnet’s communication protocol and block encryption mechanisms based on symmetric cryptography to protect the botnet’s communication contents.Furthermore, a secure control mechanism for multi-platform botnets was designed. In particular, the proposed mechanism utilized source-level code integration and cross-compilation techniques to solve the compatibility challenge. It also introduced encrypted communication with dynamic secret keys to overcome the drawbacks of network traffic regularity and ease of analysis in traditional botnets. Moreover, it designed server migration and reconnection mechanisms to address the weakness of single-point-failure in centralized botnet models.Simulation results in three experimental scenarios with different levels of botnet controllability show that there is a linear relationship between the size of a botnet and the service overhead of the related C&C servers. In addition, under the condition of the same botnet scale, a higher level of controllability introduces a higher throughput and a greater system overhead. The above results demonstrate the effectiveness and the practical feasibility of the proposed method.…”

Tracking algorithm of Siamese network based on online target classification and adaptive template update by Zhiwang CHEN, Zhongxin ZHANG, Juan SONG, Haipeng LEI, Yong PENG

    Published 2021-08-01
“…Aiming at the problem that tracking algorithm of Siamese network learned the embedded features of the tracked target and the object in the offline training stage, and these embedded features often lacked the target-specific context information, which made these tracking algorithms less robust, a tracking algorithm of the Siamese network based on online target classification and adaptive template update was proposed, which used SiamRPN++ as the baseline algorithm.Firstly, a cross-correlation feature map supervision module for classification was designed in the offline training phase to learn more discriminative embedded features.Secondly, an online target classification module that included an attention mechanism in the online tracking phase was designed, and the online update filter strategy in the module was used to filter out the background noise. Finally, an adaptive template update module was designed to update the target template information using the UpdateNet.The results of experiments on VOT2018 and VOT2019 datasets verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, which brings 13.5% and 18.2% (EAO) improvement respectively compared with the baseline algorithm SiamRPN++.…”

Credible distributed identity authentication system of microgrid based on blockchain by Guanqun YANG, Yin LIU, Hao XU, Hongwei XING, Jianhui ZHANG, Entang LI

    Published 2021-12-01
“…Most of the blockchain-based identity authentication systems are based on public blockchain, which are still essentially traditional centralized identity management and verification methods, making it difficult to meet the needs of trusted access and fine-grained access control in microgrids. Therefore, based on the FISCO BCOS consortium blockchain technology, a distributed identity authentication system supporting multi-center was designed.A DID-based identity management protocol to achieve autonomous control of user identity in a practical scenarios was designed.Distributed trusted access technology for end nodes in microgrids was studied, and privacy-protecting credentials based on zero-knowledge proof were designed. This scheme meets the requirements of trustworthy and verifiable user identity in different privacy security scenarios, and achieves autonomous control of entity identity, fine-grained access control and trusted data exchange. The usability and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm are demonstrated through system experiments and performance analysis.…”

Strength Analysis of Driving Gearbox for High Speed EMU based on Workbench by Liu Jianliang, Fan Naize, Tian Huajun, Zhao Jiadong, Pei Bang, Guan He, Miao Weiwei, Xu Sen, Wu Anwei

    Published 2017-01-01
“…Due to the current situation of Chinese high-speed motor train unit(EMU) gearbox monopolized by foreign for a long time, and facing the gearbox body cracking problems frequently, the aluminum alloy box body of high-speed EMU is redesigned.By using the three-dimensional modeling software Solid Works, the box body model is created, and the load calculation of the designed box body under two conditions of short circuit and startup is carried out separately.By using the finite element analysis software Workbench, the strength is analyzed, then the simulation test results verify the designed box body won’t appear plastic deformation and crack in both working conditions.According to the analysis results evaluated by TJ / JW064-2015 in startup conditions,to testify that the designed housing meet the requirement of train operation. The research has important reference value to the independent research and development of the high speed Emu gearbox.…”
