    “…تعالج الدراسة مدي معرفة وتواجدخريجي أقسام المکتبات والمعلومات المصرية علي منصات العمل العربية والأجنبية ، والوظائف والأعمال المتخصصة في مجال المکتبات والمعلومات فضلا عن الوظائف البديلة التي يمکن أن يطبقوا فيها مهارات مجال المکتبات والمعلومات، وأهم المهارات العامة والمتخصصة اللازمة للعمل الحر، کما يتطرق البحث لمدي الرضا عن العمل الحر والدخل المادي، ومزايا وعيوب العمل الحر من وجهة نظر أفراد الدراسة ، وقد کشفت الدراسة ما يلي : أن من لديهم معرفة بالعمل الحر عبر الإنترنت نسبتهم 73.6 %، أما نسبة من لديهم حسابات مستمرة على منصات العمل الحرة سواء العربية أو الأجنبية 23.6 % من إجمالي أفراد الدراسة، بينما 76.3 % غير مستمرين أو ليس لديهم حسابات على العمل الحر، وأن أکثر مهام/مجالات العمل التي يقوم بها أفراد الدراسة من خريجي أقسام المکتبات والمعلومات عبر منصات العمل الحر العربية والأجنبية هي العمليات الفنية (التکشيف/ الفهرسة/ التحليل الموضوعي) وهي الخدمات الفنية الأساسية في المجال بنسبة 37.5%، ويليها إدخال البيانات في المرکز الثاني بنسبة 31.3%، ويشارک في المرکز الثاني أيضًا تطوير وتصميم المواقع web development، أما عن أبرز الزظائف/المهام البديلة التي يقوم بها أفراد الدراسة البحث الأکاديمي academic research وتسويق البحوث research market في المرکز الثالث بنسبة 25%، يليهما إعداد تحرير/تطوير المحتوى content creation/development،…”
