Research on location privacy protection of mobile terminals for maritime monitoring sensor networks
Published 2021-12-01“…Mobile edge computing can support various maritime applications with high reliability and low delay.However, many security problems in computing task offloading exist.The risk of location privacy leakage of maritime mobile terminals during task offloading was analyzed and quantified.The related location privacy protection model was established and a dynamic cache and spatial cloaking-based location privacy protection (DS-LPP) algorithm was proposed.Simulation results show that DS-LPP algorithm has better performance of constructing anonymous space and selecting relay node than traditional algorithms while protecting the location privacy of maritime mobile terminals.Therefore, the DS-LPP algorithm can be effectively applied to maritime monitoring sensor network with relatively scanty communication and computing resources, and ensure the continuity of location privacy protection.…”

Research of LBS privacy preserving based on sensitive location diversity
Published 2015-04-01“…Before getting location-based query service,constructing a cloaking region or picking an anchor which is still in a sensitive area is vulnerable to lead location privacy exposure.An algorithm of selecting anchor is proposed based on sensitive location diversity.By defining sensitive locations and filtering different ones according to users’ visiting number and peak time,locations with similar features are chosen to construct a diversity zone,and the centroid of the zone is chosen as an anchor that raises location diversity.Referring to SpaceTwist,a query algorithm (HINN) is proposed to get places of interest (PoI),and query results can be inferred without providing any user’s actual location.The defect in SpaceTwist that PoIs are found around the anchor is modified,which improves querying accuracy.The experiments show that users’ location privacy is protected well when the user is staying at a sensitive place,and the method has good working performances.…”

Trajectory privacy protection method based on location obfuscation
Published 2018-07-01“…In the process of continuous queries,a method of trajectory privacy protection based on location obfuscation was proposed to solve the problem that K-anonymity was difficult to guarantee user privacy in third party architectrue.Firstly,the (G-1) query obfuscation locations through the location prediction was obtained and the dummy location selection mechanism,and then sent them together with the user’s real query location to different anonymizers to form cloaking regions and sent them to the LBS server for queries,and the query results were returned to the user by different anonymizers.In this method,the user’s real query location was confused by the location obfuscation,and the attacker couldn’t deduce the user’s trajectory from a single anonymizer or the LBS server.The method can enhance the privacy of the user’s trajectory and can effectively solve the performance bottleneck in the single anonymizer structure.Security analysis shows the security of the proposed approach,and experiments show this method can reduce the number of interactions between the user and the LBS server and the overhead of the single anonymizer.…”
