Study on Flood Evolution Law of Typical River Basins in Daqinghe Mountain Area under Changing Environment by WANG Siqi, ZHU Hongpeng, LU Fan, JIANG Ming, ZHOU Yuyan

    Published 2022-01-01
“…Among the major river basins in China,Haihe River basin is greatly affected by environmental changes in terms of hydrological situations.Therefore,in-depth studies on the impact of environmental changes on flood evolution in the basin are of practical significance. Two typical sub-basins at the upper reaches of Zijingguan hydrological station and Fuping hydrological station are selected, and the two stations are located in the Daqinghe mountain area of the Haihe River basin.According to the flood process and precipitation data of the annual maximum flood peak of the two stations from 1960 to 2018,the changes in flood process, runoff coefficient, and runoff threshold are analyzed by mathematical statistics and other methods, and a time-varying parameter model GAMLSS is used to analyze the changes in flood frequency under inconsistency conditions. The results show that the flood peak discharge of the two sub-basins decreased significantly from 1960 to 2018,and the average value of flood peak discharge and runoff coefficient in different stages became small gradually. The average values of runoff threshold of the two sub-basins were 14 and 16 mm,respectively, from 2000 to 2018.The hydrological inconsistency caused by the change in underlying surfaces has a significant impact on the design flood value, and follow-up analysis and calculation of hydrology should pay attention to the impact of environmental changes on hydrological series.…”

“Meaninglessness makes me unhappy”: examining the role of a sense of alienation and life satisfaction in the relationship between the presence of meaning and depression among Chine... by Xiaoxu Hou, Jinsheng Hu, Zhihong Liu

    Published 2025-02-01
“…This study aims to explore the mediating effects of a sense of alienation and life satisfaction on the relationship between the presence of meaning in life and depression among Chinese high school seniors.MethodsSix hundred and twenty-one senior high school students (17.09 ± 0.45 years, 266 boys) were recruited from Shandong, China, to participate in the study. Participants completed the Adolescent Students’ Sense of Alienation (ASAS), Meaning in Life Questionnaire (MLQ), Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS), and Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI-II).ResultsOur findings revealed that (1) the sense of alienation and life satisfaction play a chain mediating role between the presence of meaning in life and depression among Chinese high school seniors; (2) the sense of alienation plays a mediating role between the presence of meaning in life and depression; (3) there are gender differences in the chain mediation model of the influence of the presence of meaning in life on depression.ConclusionThis study reveals potential pathways through which the presence of meaning in life affects depression among Chinese high school seniors, offering support and a basis for future mental health interventions for this population.…”

Resilience and vulnerability of post-ostomy patients with early-onset colorectal cancer from the perspective of social-ecological theory: a qualitative study by Fangfang Yang, Fangming Feng, Hongming Gu, Han Liang, Jin Zhang, Yusha Cheng, Weiying Zhang

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Post-ostomy dysfunction, along with negative perceptions due to incorrect public views and a decline in quality of life, has a significant impact on these individuals, their families, and social relationships.ObjectiveBy understanding the adaptation process of post-ostomy EOCRC(POEOCRC) patients, this study aims to provide information for developing targeted nursing interventions for this population.MethodsBased on the social-ecological theory, semi-structured, in-depth interviews were conducted with 16 POEOCRC patients in China between May 2023 and January 2024.Colaizzi’s method of phenomenology was employed for data analysis.ResultsThis study found two aspects of adaptation experience in POEOCRC patients. …”

INFLUENCE OF DIFFERENT PERFORMANCE OF ANTI-YAW DAMPER ON VEHICLE DYNAMICS by SHAO JunJie, LEI Lei, HU ZeYao

    Published 2022-01-01
“…According to the dynamic parameters of a certain high-speed train in China, the dynamic model of the vehicle is established, and the influence on the dynamic performance of the vehicle is analyzed based on the performance data of anti-yaw damper in different performance states. The results show that: In actual operation, the performance change of anti-yaw damper has little effect on the force between wheel and rail; In the actual operation, the performance change of anti-yaw damper has a certain impact on the running stability of the vehicle, but the impact degree is limited. …”

Calculation of Meshing Backlash for Cycloidal-pin Gear of RV Reducer Under the Influence of Tooth Profile Deviation by Tianxing Li, Guofeng Wang, Xiaotao An, Chunrong Xing, Meng Tian

    Published 2019-09-01
“…At present, the calculation of meshing backlash in China is mostly based on theoretical design of tooth profile, without considering the tooth profile deviation of cycloidal gear in the process of modification design and processing, so the calculated theoretical meshing backlash is inconsistent with the actual meshing backlash. …”
