Optimization strategy and solution of 4G high-speed rail network by Zongzhang LI, Zhitong SHI, Yuling WANG, Kun YUAN, Zhiguo WANG, Xinchao ZHANG

    Published 2016-07-01
“…With the development of LTE data and VoLTE services, subscribers pay more and more attention to network experience.LTE optimization faces many challenges. Therefore,China Mobile Shandong Corporation made a complete and feasibility solution, which met the requirement of high-speed scene optimization. There were four dimensions in this solution: double layers network deployment,VoLTE optimization of high-speed rail, coordinating optimization in the boundary of high-speed network and normal LTE network, and the exploration and deployment of new functions. After the implementation of the solution,VoLTE coverage rate increases from 87.95% to 91.66%,MOS value upgrades from 3.6 to 4,the ratio of MOS value greater than 3.0 rised from 89.61% to 96.70%.…”

Estimation and Study on the Potential of Irrawaddy River Waterway by LI Wenjie, LIU Dan, YANG Shengfa, YANG Wei, LONG Hao

    Published 2020-01-01
“…The Irrawaddy River is an important waterway that opens the direct route from southwestChina to the Indian Ocean. Aiming at the development of the Irrawaddy River waterway, thispaper deduces the theoretical formula for the waterway depth based on the hydraulics, river dynamicsand available estimation methods for waterway potential, and estimates the theoretical depth of thewaterway that can be achieved in different sections of the Irrawaddy River by the measured data andempirical parameters. The results show that under the condition of 98% navigation guarantee rate ofthe Irrawaddy River, the minimum waterway development depth from Bhamo to Mandalay, Mandalay toProme, and Prome to Yangon is 2.14 m, 2.58 m and 2.75 m respectively, and the annual navigationcapacity is more than 1.8 billion tons. The research results can provide some theoretical andtechnical support for the development of the Irrawaddy River waterway.…”

Quantum information course for the undergraduate students of cyber security by Wei CHEN, Zhenqiang YIN, Zhengfu HAN, Nenghai YU

    Published 2019-06-01
“…Quantum information is a new discipline with the intersection of quantum physics and information technology, which has developed rapidly recently and has been on the road of industrialization. In contrast, the severe shortage of the practitioners, who can understand quantum information technology in depth, have become bottlenecks restricting the development of this technology. The lack of talent stems is from the lack of education, especially for the undergraduate students of engineering.Benefitting from the vigorous growth of quantum information in China, the fundamental of infiltrating the quantum information course in the undergraduate education of engineering can be performed, and some positive effects have been achieved. The course has carried out the teaching reforms, and practices in terms of teaching objectives, curriculum structure, practical methods, which have gained good teaching results. These teaching experiences and ideas provide a valuable reference for quantum information education in the cyberspace security discipline.…”

    Published 2024-12-01
“…AUKUS, on the other hand, signaled military cooperation as a balance of power amidst an assertive China. While minilateralism is growing in the 21st-century multipolar world, this article examines how these emerging trends of issue-based coalitions, flexible alignments, and informal alliances create avenues for like-minded countries to strengthen capacity-building measures.    …”
