Research on full-field optical coherence tomography
Published 2017-12-01“…Full-field optical coherence tomography(FFOCT)was used for imaging the interior part of an object.Firstly, the mathematical modeling and performance analysis of the FFOCT system mounted was provided.Secondly, images of several different human tissues were obtained by FFOCT system, including esophagus, uterus, etc. The images of different depths of the same tissue were shown and compared. It was the first time in China that FFOCT was used for generating depth images on human esophagus and uterus;high-resolution images had been obtained for different depths without cutting the tissue sample,in which intercellular substance and myofibril structure could be clearly identified. As the in-depth structure could be imaged without the process needed for frozen and paraffin sectioning methods, the technology could been highly valuable for early cancer diagnosis and pathological analysis in tumor research.…”

Research Theory and Progress of Downstream Response to Imposed Flow Transformation
Published 2023-01-01“…This study aims to explore the research progress and development direction of environmental flow and supplement the research methods regarding environmental flow assessment.Specifically, the research progress of environmental flow in and outside China is summarized. Then, the software CiteSpace is used to analyze the historical hotspots and research topic evolution of research methods for environmental flow since the 21st century on the basis of the CNKI and Web of Science databases.Next,a holistic method for environmental flow assessment, namely, downstream response to imposed flow transformation (DRIFT),is introduced in detail from the aspects of development background, model modules, and application steps. Finally, the application of this method in environmental flow assessment and ecosystem protection is summarized given the cases of the Okavango and Zambezi River projects in South Africa. The results provide a new idea and method for the study of environmental flow.…”

Research and Practice on the Influence of Hydropower Station Construction on River Connectivity in the Process of Urbanization
Published 2022-01-01“…River connectivity features longitudinal, lateral, and vertical dimensions,as well as time.Specifically, the longitudinal dimension (longitudinal connectivity) is highly disturbed and widely affected by human activities in the process of urbanization.Based on the research and practice of the longitudinal river connectivity both in China and abroad in terms of concepts, research mechanisms, and calculation methods, this paper took the Nanshan River Basin in Yunfu city,Guangdong Province as an example and adopted the VCI,barrier coefficient, improved barrier coefficient, and DCI methods to quantitatively evaluate the influence of hydropower station construction on longitudinal river connectivity. In addition,by calculating the impact of each hydropower station on the connectivity, the paper proposed suggestions for restoring the river connectivity in a targeted manner, which provides a reference model for the development and construction of water conservancy and hydropower and the management of small and medium-sized river basins.…”
