Maximizing H2 Production from a Combination of Catalytic Partial Oxidation of CH4 and Water Gas Shift Reaction by Pannipa Tepamatr, Pattarapon Rungsri, Pornlada Daorattanachai, Navadol Laosiripojana

    Published 2025-01-01
“…In addition, the different types of catalysts, including Ni, Cu, Ni-Re, and Cu-Re supported on gadolinium-doped ceria (GDC) were investigated under different operating conditions of temperature (400–650 °C). Over Ni-based catalysts, methane can easily dissociate on a Ni surface to give hydrogen and carbon species. …”

Dietary Supplementation of L-Arginine and N-Carbamylglutamate Attenuated the Hepatic Inflammatory Response and Apoptosis in Suckling Lambs with Intrauterine Growth Retardation by Hao Zhang, Yaotian Fan, Mabrouk Elsabagh, Shuang Guo, Mengzhi Wang, Honghua Jiang

    Published 2020-01-01
“…Compared with CON lambs, relative protein 53 (P53), apoptosis antigen 1 (Fas), Bcl-2-associated X protein (Bax), caspase-3, cytochrome C, tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), nuclear factor kappa-B (NF-κB) p65, and NF-κB pp65 protein levels were higher (P<0.05) in liver from IUGR lambs, whereas those in liver from IUGR lambs under Arg or NCG treatment were lower than those in IUGR lambs. …”

Hydrolysis of Methionine- and Histidine-Containing Peptides Promoted by Dinuclear Platinum(II) Complexes with Benzodiazines as Bridging Ligands: Influence of Ligand Structure on th... by Snežana Rajković, Beata Warżajtis, Marija D. Živković, Biljana Đ. Glišić, Urszula Rychlewska, Miloš I. Djuran

    Published 2018-01-01
“…The chlorido Pt(II) complexes 1–3 were converted into the corresponding aqua species 1a–3a, and their reactions with an equimolar amount of Ac–L–Met–Gly and Ac–L–His–Gly dipeptides were studied by 1H NMR spectroscopy in the pH range 2.0 < pH < 2.5 at 37°C. It was found that, in all investigated reactions with the Ac–L–Met–Gly dipeptide, the cleavage of the Met–Gly amide bond had occurred, but complexes 2a and 3a showed lower catalytic activity than 1a. …”

Analysis of factors affecting the clinical management of infection in culture-negative patients following percutaneous endoscopic decompression: a retrospective study by Changpeng Qu, Haixin Wei, Hao Zhang, Zheng Lian, Hui Lu, Shuo Han

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Patient demographics, hidden blood loss, daily blood glucose control, and maximum temperature during treatment were recorded as potential risk factors. C-reactive protein, procalcitonin, white blood cells, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, and the duration of antibiotic treatment were used as indicators of infection treatment. …”

Abrasion resistant characteristics of UHPC based on high-speed underwater method: Efficiency, process, evaluation, and mechanisms by Xuan Qiu, Jihui Zhao, Zhong Li

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Ultra-High-Performance Concrete (UHPC) exhibits excellent abrasion resistance and has great potential for application in hydraulic engineering. However, the ASTM C1138 operates at a rotational speed of 1200 RPM, resulting in low testing efficiency and prolonged duration, making it unsuitable for evaluating the abrasion resistance of UHPC. …”
