Effect of normalisation on the microstructure and wear resistance of U75V rail welded joints in desert service environments by Xi Zhang, Tingting Liao, Xing Liu, Xiaoya Shen, Ruotong Tian, XinYi Yang, Biao Guo, Qibing Lv, Guoqing Gou, Xiao Huang

    Published 2025-03-01
“…To elucidate the wear mechanism of rail steel welded joints in desert environments, we investigated the high-temperature friction and wear performance of U75V flash–butt welded rails across weld joints (normalised and non-normalised) as well as the base material at temperatures of 60, 200, and 300 °C. Owing to debris accumulation and the oxidised lubricating layer produced by the frictional process, all specimens exhibited elevated wear volumes accompanied by reduced friction coefficients with increasing temperature. …”

Acylated Ghrelin Renders Chemosensitive Ovarian Cancer Cells Resistant to Cisplatin Chemotherapy via Activation of the PI3K/Akt/mTOR Survival Pathway by Attalla Farag El-kott, Ali A. Shati, Mohammed Ali Al-kahtani, Sultan Alqahtani

    Published 2019-01-01
“…Concomitantly, in both control and Cis-treated cells, AG significantly lowered the protein levels of p53, p-p53 (Ser16), PUMA, cytochrome C, and cleaved caspase-3. Interestingly, pre-incubating the cells with either [D-Lys3]-GHRP-6 or LY294002 completely abolished the above-mentioned effect of AG in both control and Cis-treated cells. …”

Eine Systematik diatonischer Skalen by Marc Neufeld

    Published 2017-12-01
“…By gradually deleting the seven {{bvorz}}-accidentals of the C{{bvorz}} major scale, the category of ‘subtractive scales’ is developed, which may, by addition of {{kvorz}}-accidentals, be transformed into ‘additive scales’. …”
