Optimization and realization of SWIPT relay channel transmission rate based on rateless code by Weijia LEI, Minghao DONG

    Published 2019-05-01
“…The optimization of the transmission rate and implementation of the simultaneous wireless information and power transfer in a relay system were studied. In a three-node two-hop system, the decode-and-forward protocol was employed by the relay node. One transmission period was divided into two phases. The first phase was the simultaneous transmission of the information and energy from the source to the relay. The received signal at the relay node was split to two parts. One part was used for information decoding, and the other was converted into energy for information forwarding in the second phase. In the second phase, the information was forwarded according to the decode-and-forward protocol by the relay. The power splitting factor was optimized to minimize the total time of the two hops for the transmission of a certain amount of information when the durations of the two hops were unequal.Furthermore,Raptor codes were combined with different modulation modes to realize different transmission rates on the two hops for the efficient utilization of the different channel capacities in the two hops. The selection mechanism of the codeword length of Raptor codes and modulation mode was given. The simulation proves that the two hops with unequal durations can achieve a higher throughput, and the capacity of the relay channel can be efficiently used by employing Raptor codes, and an efficient and reliable transmission is realized.…”

Resource allocation in cognitive radio network with energy harvesting by Yan LONG, Xiaoqian ZHANG, Xuming FANG, Rong HE

    Published 2018-09-01
“…Considering the diversity of energy harvesting capability and spectrum sensing accuracy of SU,as well as dynamic channel quality, under the constraint of energy causality, the secondary network throughput maximization problem in single-hop cognitive radio networks with energy harvesting was studied. The transmission channel selection, transmission power control and transmission time allocation of SU were jointly optimized.Since the optimization problem was non-convex,by converting it into a series of convex optimization sub-problems,the optimize transmission power and transmission time algorithm (OPTA) was obtained.Compared with the existing resource allocation algorithms, such as,hybrid differential evolution algorithm (HDEA),optimized transmission algorithm (OTA),and random assignment channel algorithm (RA),the simulation results verify the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. For example, under the same maximum transmission power constraint, the throughput of the proposed OPTA scheme could increase by around 6%,37% and 50% than that of HDEA,OTA and RA schemes respectively.Under the same channel gain diversity, the throughput of the proposed OPTA scheme could increase by around 30%,60% and 94% than that of HDEA,OTA and RA schemes respectively.Under the same energy harvesting efficiency diversity, the throughput of the proposed OPTA scheme could increase by around 27%,50% and 92% than that of HDEA,OTA and RA schemes respectively.…”

Efficient routing strategy of blockchain-based payment channel network by Ru HUO, Dong NI, Hua LU, Yunfeng XIA, Shuo WANG, Tao HUANG, Yunjie LIU

    Published 2021-06-01
“…In order to solve the problems of the low transaction success rate and network imbalance of the payment channel network, an efficient routing strategy of blockchain-based payment channel network was proposed. This strategy established a dedicated payment channel for the high-priority services according to the service type and service priority, and divided the conventional business into multiple transaction unit.Furthermore, a channel balanced routing algorithm was designed to route each transaction unit, which could reduce the number of transactions on the blockchain and maintain long-term stable operation of the off-chain payment channel, as well as improve the transaction success rate.In addition, in order to avoid the temporary shortage of funds and unavailability of channels due to a certain link occupied by multiple transactions simultaneously, a transaction queuing mechanism in the payment channel network was designed. This mechanism established the forwarding rules for transactions by calculating the escrow amount between the node that transactions arrived and the next hop node, where the channel balanced routing algorithm was used to calculate the new forwarding path for the nodes that could not carry out capital injection within the queuing threshold. The simulation results show that the proposed strategy could improve the transaction success rate and realize the equilibrium of the payment channel network.…”
