    “…Il s’agit aussi de s’interroger sur l’influence de la masculinisation dans l’activité proprement éducative puisque la place des femmes et des hommes dans la société affectent les métiers liées à la petite enfance, et pas seulement.Partant de cet état des lieux, j’ai pris pour objet de recherche les effets des normes de sexe chez les femmes et les hommes qui font le choix de devenir enseignant-e en primaire et comment ces rôles de sexe les conduisent à intérioriser des conduites professionnelles. Ayant adopté cette perspective, les hypothèses suivantes ont été testées :— les femmes exerçant quasi exclusivement en maternelle ont un repli sur leur identité de sexe et considèrent leur rôle d’enseignante comme un prolongement de la maternité,— pour les hommes, il n’y a pas d’inversion de sexe dans un espace de mixité mais plus exactement une affirmation de leur identité de sexe,— les enseignant-e-s tentent de construire leur identité professionnelle non pas sur des qualités stéréotypées et rassurantes pour la société et les parents mais sur une relation de savoirs toujours à reconstruire en raison des fortes attentes sociétales véhiculées.Les résultats présentés ici sont extrait d’entretiens semi-directifs que j’ai conduits auprès de vingt enseignant-e-s (dix femmes et dix hommes). …”
