Distributions, Sources, and Backward Trajectories of Atmospheric Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons at Lake Small Baiyangdian, Northern China
Published 2012-01-01“…The following results were obtained: (1) The total concentration of 16 priority controlled PAHs (PAH16) in the gas phase was 417.2±299.8 ng·m−3, in the particulate phase was 150.9±99.2 ng·m−3, and in dust fall was 6930.2±3206.5 ng·g−1. (2) Vehicle emission, coal combustion, and biomass combustion were the major sources in the Small Baiyangdian atmosphere and accounted for 28.9%, 45.1% and 26.0% of the total PAHs, respectively. (3) Winter was dominated by relatively greater PAHs polluted northwesterly air mass pathways. …”

The Disk Wind Contribution to the Gamma-Ray Emission from the Nearby Seyfert Galaxy GRS 1734−292
Published 2025-01-01“…With the first detailed multiwavelength study of this source, we demonstrate that an active galactic nucleus (AGN) disk wind can account for its gamma-ray emission. Using a lepto-hadronic emission model based on a shocked ambient medium and a shocked wind region created by an AGN accretion disk wind, we identify two viable scenarios that are consistent with the Fermi-LAT data and multiwavelength observations: a hadronic pp -dominated scenario and a leptonic external-Compton-dominated scenario. …”

Torsional Behavior of High-Strength Concrete Beams with Minimum Reinforcement Ratio
Published 2019-01-01“…Although there is a growing trend to use higher strength for concrete and steel in reinforced concrete structures due to the lightness and slenderness of these members together with the simplified arrangement of their reinforcement, there is still the necessity to inspect the reduction of ductility resulting from the gain in strength. Taking into account that this also concerns the design for torsion, this study intends to investigate the regulations related to the torsional minimum reinforcement ratio in view of the minimum ductility requirement with focus on Eurocode 2. …”
