Comment approfondir la coopération entre rive nord et rive sud de la Méditerranée : Un renouveau économique tenant compte des effets de la rente sur le Sud de la Méditerranée... by Hartmut Elsenhans

    Published 2013-10-01
“…The EU could address this lack of agricultural surplus by assigning its own agricultural surplus to the economic transformation of the Arab world, in this way promoting social and political stability on the basis of the comparative advantage that will appear when the Arab world has managed its industrialization. To implement such a strategy, we must break with the simplistic models which oppose market, planning, production and autocentric development.…”

Faith based congestion fairness control in wireless sensor networks by TANG Wen-sheng1, PENG Yu-xing1, LI Shan-shan1, ZHANG Ding-xing1

    Published 2009-01-01
“…A new basic fairness control principle was applied to assure the equal bandwidth-sharing for the link from nodes-to-sink in wireless sensor networks(WSN).Thus,a new fairness congestion control algorithm(called EFFRC) was proposed which was based on the amounts of event information. To bypass the difficulty of calculating the amounts of event information, the algorithm calculated the size of the potential event region of the node instead of the amounts of event information. To facilitate calculating the area of the event region,it was subdivided into several quadrilateral ones, and then the area of the region was the sum of the area of all separate ones. The experiments results show that EFFRC is capable of effectively calculating event information as well as achieving the fair allocation of bandwidth.…”

Structure-free and dynamic-adaptive data fusion algorithm for wireless sensor networks by Jun YUE, Wei-ming ZHANG, Wei-dong XIAO, Da-quan TANG, Jiu-yang TANG

    Published 2012-09-01
“…Researches on the problem that the existing data fusion algorithms couldn't satisfy the new application re-quirements,ie,frequent dynamic change of network and hi demand with reliability of data communication,a struc-ture-free and dynamic-adaptive data fusion algorithm was presented which divided the network into several grids, sensors perform data communication according to grids and adopt many-to-many data communication manner, there was no need for sensors to establish and maintain a structure. The results of simulation experiments show that this algorithm is able to adapt the dynamic change of network and offer high reliable data communication while performs the task of data fusion.…”

Le bénévolat, une porte d’entrée privilégiée pour mobiliser les jeunes dans des activités d’apprentissage propices au développement de compétences transversales by Sandrine Cortessis, Saskia Weber Guisan

    Published 2016-07-01
“…Through thirty semi-structured interviews, we are asking ourselves how young people engage in activities that are neither paid nor compulsory; how and why they commit themselves to this type of activities and finally, how non-profit organisations can potentially be a place for competences development. In focusing first on these young volunteers’ careers and then on the resources offered to them within non-profit organisations, we explore a context of informal learning which allows, under certain conditions, the development of so-called soft skills.…”
