| Summary: | This article presents a research – on a historical and fieldwork perspective – conducted in the frame of the Master 2 of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure du Paysage de Versailles on the Estate of Voisins. The article is an attempt to defining the place. Projects and ruptures have occurred since the creation of the Estate at the beginning of the 20th Century until its current configuration. The objective is to figure out the articulations through a relative research, on one side on the gardens designed by Achille Duchêne and on the other one on the estate as hunting Park. Unpublished documents à filed in the private archives of the Voisins estate- have enlightened the originality of the creation as well as the continuity of the place in its management. This historical approach of the management constitutes a starting point for the reflection on the future of the place. |
