Summary:Abstrac Indonesia is a multicultural and multireligious country. Therefore, it is necessary to study the development model of religion that emphasizes the learning model with the overriding goal of combating violence, poverty, corruption, manipulation and the like. Many events anarchism (hardness) and terrorism in the name of Islam, invite the questions that it is true that Islam as a religion rahmatanlil 'alamin. For these conditions, the concept of Islamic education-based pluralist-multicultural is an offer that is absolutely necessary, in order to create conditions more progressive in terms of tolerance. Keywords: Islamic Education, Pluralist-Multicultural, Anarchism. Abstrak Indonesia merupakan negara dan bangsa yang multikultural dan multireligius, oleh sebab itu perlu adanya model pengembangan pembelajaran agama yang menekankan kepada model pembelajaran dengan tujuan utama yaitu memerangi kekerasan, kemiskinan, korupsi, manipulasi dan sejenisnya. Merebaknya peristiwa anarkisme (kekerasan) dan terorisme yang mengatasnamakan Islam, mengundang pertanyaan benarkah Islam sebagai agamarahmatan lil ‘alamin. Untuk kondisi tersebut, kosep pendidikan Islam berbasis pluralis-multikultural merupakan tawaran yang mutlak perlu, supaya tercipta kondisi yang lebih progesif dalam artian toleransi. Kata kunci: Pendidikan Islam, Pluralis-Multikultural, Anarkisme.
