description  Late progress in additive manufacturing has implemented the fabrication of customized porous and cellular structures at various levels. Structures with highly complex geometries and interconnected smaller pores or holes are impossible to produce by traditional fabrication methods, such as casting and extrusion. The creation of such complex shapes is possible through additive manufacturing based on particle bed 3D printing deposition and has been used in many applications so far. To asses the quality of such porous and customized frequency acoustic materials, non-destructive methods such as X-ray microtomography can be used. Hence, this work proposes the characterization of planar objects (panels) with X-ray micro-laminography, which is shown to be very promising tool for assessing non-destructive 3D analysis, especially when the same sample needs to be multiple characterised. In this research, the near-surface structure and inner structure (aperture shapes) were detailed observed.
