Summary:The witness' testimony is essential in a civil process. The witness plays a key role in resolving a lawsuit. in fact, many times, a civil trial cannot continue without the factual existence of a witness. The same importance is given by the European court of human rights to the role of the witness in a trial, sanctioning states that fail to give importance to the person who testimony. This European court admit that the evidence is relevant, and the role of it is to assess the judgment of the national court in justifying the admission of witnesses the administration of evidence was fairly observed.
