Summary:Decision making is one of theimportant life skills. Appropriate and timely decisions can affect people'slives positively, while incorrect decisions may lead to negative effects. Insocial relations, which are getting more and more complex with each passingday, people are faced with a number of problems and options to choose the mostappropriate decisions for themselves.This study was carried out in order to examine thepreferences of individuals residing in Erzincan province. The sample of thestudy was 387 people and the questionnaire forms consisting of 28 questionswere answered by the participants. Decision-making styles; perfectionism, brandfocus, fashion focus, price focus, thoughtless shopping, habit, confusion ofinformation, shopping avoidance and instability. In the research, firstly theliterature related to the subject has been searched and then demographicfeatures were correlated with the answers given to the decision-making stylesscale by using SPSS package program. In the last section, the results of theresearch were evaluated and various results were obtained in the opinions ofindividuals about their decision making style.
