| Summary: | The results presented in this article are part of research that investigates the “EscolaProfissionalMixta de Sorocaba” in the first four decades of the twentieth century. This article examines the importance of the EFS both as a participant in the teaching of students as the destination of graduates from “EscolaProfissionalMixta de Sorocaba”. This investigation refers to the moments of dominance of Taylorism- Fordism and the methods used for the preparation of workers who should be ready and available to the capital, in a short space of time. To develop this work were made periodic visits to the historical archives existing in the collections provided by the Memory Center of the institution, by the Council Chamber,by the railroad museum in Sorocaba/SP. It was observed that in the teaching-learning process, the institution has used methodic series. |
