Description
Summary:This article is based on a study carried out since 2021 on the territory of La Bouillie, in the Blois Agglomeration. A de-urbanisation operation has been carried out there since 2003 on this space, facing high flood risk exposure. Then, rehabilitation policies have been discussed for several years and can be considered as a Nature-based Solution (NBS). Several non-permanent uses have been proposed, in line with NBS : planners ambition to address flood risk and build synergies between agricultural, recreative and contemplative uses. Through a qualitative study adopting a processual approach, this article analyses this NBS as the outcome of twenty years of negotiations during which various forms of regulation change and question the concept of NBS seen as a multi-beneficiary tool. The multifunctional development project ongoing in La Bouillie is part of a green urban project but is part of a socio-spatial transformation dynamics and strengthens, feeds and makes invisible several inequalities that have marked the construction of the project.
